Why is it dumb? We have a comparable recruiting class, we both have three losses and we beat them head to head by 20 points . Furthermore, we over- performed this year while they under- performed and we will be deep and experienced next year. Sounds to me like we are on pace to flip the script.

Everyone is. Acting like this season was unequivocally better than UGA's is a bit of stretch. UGA has an East title while LSU has a bowl win. LSU has the #4 ranked class (following #15 ranked class). UGA has the #2 ranked class (#1 ranked class).
Again, nothing in there clearly screams "better" to me.

I'm sorry if I would rather see how UGA does over a couple more years than just say LSU finished better than UGA in one season that means they will never be a dynasty. You think that's a reasonable conclusion to jump to based on a single season?

You guys keep talking about a season. My comment was about saying one season can predict whether or not a team will eventually be considered a dynasty. I don't understand how people don't get this. I'm not arguing if LSU did better or worse than UGA in 2018. I'm saying that doesn't equal

One season (still finishing in the top 10 btw) doesn't dictate if a team will or won't be the next dynasty.

ETA - you said yourself you read like 60/85 scholarships are freshmen/sophomores.

Yes they are because apparently the majority of them don't understand or didn't read the word dynasty. One season apparently dictates all future success or failures.

I don’t see how last year is relevant as far as their season.
