He was surprised how confident I am.

Like the national media, the (shallow level of) insight by non-Tigers - into the issues we had, and the development and improvements being made - is striking.

He simply didn't believe me about my assessment & confidence, completely discounting the changes I mentioned regarding multiple areas of improvement.

He has the 2012-2017ish narrative stuck in his mind, just as do many in the national media.

Looking soooo forward to 9/7.

Some in the media are quite high on LSU for 2019. I'm not sure how many are aware LSU is projected to be a considerable favorite even with the game being in Austin.

Specifically what did you mention that he did not believe? What exactly didn’t he believe?

Everything about our team outside of there quarterback with the slight atvantage is better.

Ther DLine is complete garbage. We should be able to run the ball down there throats

My prediction: I think we lose twice. Loses to Texas and Alabama. The melt will be of epic proportions for the Texas lose.

But we make it in to the playoffs and all-in-all have a great season.

2012 LSU Football Team possibly was the most talented team LSU ever had if the honey badger had not been kicked off the team

A 10-2 LSU team will not make the CFP. It would be good enough to get us to a NYD bowl, but not the playoffs.

Not with 2 losses this season.

I don't see us losing to UT though.

I think we lose twice as well. BAMA, AUB or GAY&M. Possibly MossSt.

Not because I think any of those teams are better than LSU other than BAMA. I just think they’ll slip up in one of those.

There’s no reason this team shouldn’t go 11-1. Last year expectations were so low nobody expected much. LSU will have to exceed last years record or things could get bumpy for O. This is his year. Not next year or the next. We’ll see. Hoping for the best. We’ll know by game 1 or 2 how innovative this “new offense” is. I’m expecting a much better scheme/ play calling.
