Living in Houston, every Texas fan I've spoken to has said they're going to get their heads kicked in, but it should be a fun game. One of my friends in particular thinks the defense, particularly early on, for Texas will be shaky. LSU may have the best defense it's ever had under Aranda so long as the linebacking corps steps up, and they all have game experience, including big game experience. And UT has one of the worst home field advantages in major college athletics.

He has the 2012-2017ish narrative stuck in his mind, just as do many in the national media.

How does this help his team in any way? Those LSU teams would also beat this Texas team.
