NO this is not what its about. What kind of lawyer would believe that LSU is in anyway responsible for the intentional acts of its athletes outside of campus???

There is drama all the time between a recently split up couple. Obviously, Lowery was harassing her but to go as far as to get a restraining order means she either believed she was in danger or was encouraged to do so.

Did you comprehend the accusations and still just want to make your ill-informed point anyway?
Whether true or not, he is claiming that LSU conspired in a cover up of the situation. For that, they would be liable. If they did, in fact, intentionally damage Lowery's reputation to cover up the players involvement in the fight they could and should be financially liable.

Understandable if that is the case. But the accusation may be that LSU pressured her to embellish prior events. My point is, the video alone doesn't show that it would be very probable for her to get a restraining order. FWIW, I doubt LSU had anything to do with covering this up.

Did LSU also get lowery to drive drunk and under the influence into a ditch in airline hwy and then hit him with a vehicle when he decided to walk down the middle of a US highway?

No, wrong on both accounts. Restraining order filed after Shady's event and he hit one of her friends the night of the Shady's thing.

I know he lied to the cops or something that night but I hadn't heard anything about him driving into a ditch...

I just said I don't think LSU had anything to do with it. You are arguing the validity of the accusation, which is fine. Whoever I responded to earlier said that LSU could not be held financially liable for the incident.

I could've sworn something went down between him and one of her girlfriends before Shady's. The court date was set for sometime in Sept.
In any event, I don't see it making much of a difference. His attorney is grasping at straws to make a case. It's pretty obvious.

He was found walking on Airline Hwy drunk and on a Lortab. His vehicle was found in a ditch. How the frick this kid hasn't been charged with something yet is beyond me.
