look at how damn good the SEC is

Ok, but we blew leads, walked way too many, made too many errors, and had too many uncompetitive at bats against NC, too

We look pretty small next to Georgia and A and M players.

We also won it 7 other times too. That was last season. This team is not last season or any of those other nattys. Its actually about time to "stop using that as an excuse" smdh.

Then Jay and Verge best start fundraising to address the shortfall on NIL and facilities.

Verge already has which is how I know you are not a baseball fan. It was written about a shitload this past year.

Think about that. We aren’t even as good as 64 other teams with the top recruiting class and supposedly top notch portal talent. THAT^^ I can bitch about. It’s not about being entitled. It’s about a coach making damn good money not performing. It’s too much of drop just to say “oh well, next year” and not bitch about it.

Idiots only look at won-loss when it’s not that simple. it’s kind of looking at only the batting average or ERA and judging a player. It is not that simple. baseball is a complex sport when it comes to analytics. It’s the most complex sport there is. That’s why when people try to boil it down to a number like won- loss record it infuriates people that actually know the game.

What you’re saying is Cooper Moore and Caden Evans when healthy don’t combine for 3 to 4 more wins. Those 4-5 more wins are the difference between making the field of 64 and not. Pretty easy to understand.

How about just going over .500 in the SEC? I guess we're too spoiled to want that at one of the most storied and supported programs in the country

To want that is perfectly fine. The fact that you act like a little bitch when you dont get it is the problem.

It’s more than this, we are small and slow compared to the upper echelon SEC. The decline has been swift and real and frankly shocking.

This is not a good sign and it’s surprising how many of you accept putrid because we won it all last year. Same crap we read in 2020 defending O to rationalize pathetic.

I’m w you. My only complaint is this is his worst pitching staff yet, they have not one pitcher who they can depend on to come in and shut down an SEC opponent.
JJ, more than any of us, knows this and I Trust he will right this sinking ship.

It’s been a disappointing season. Roster deficits have been apparent. Pitching, defense and offense have been underwhelming to put it mildly.

I was struck by the physical differences between UGa’s players and ours. They looked the part of a contender.

You really can’t blame folks for their reactions even if some of it is catastrophe syndrome.

Jay appears to have taken a wrong turn with his roster management but he recognizes it. I have no doubt Jay will make adjustments and get things turned around.

I don’t expect to win it every year. But LSU baseball should never be this bad, period!

Jesus
That is the biggest bull shite I’ve read on here. Serna, Arambide
Pearson, Brown, Milam (wasn’t small and slow last season and can hit bombs), Curiel isn’t “slow”. Stanfield isn’t playing but he was acceptable last season. Our outfield was exceptionally fast with Brown having a cannon.
Braun isn’t small at all.
The freshman are Freshman and haven’t began to grow. The size of this team has zero to do with balls and strikes.

The posters who believe it’s their obligation as a fan to defend the coach no matter what always go to these extremes. Link one post by anyone saying we should win a natty year. We should make the tournament every year. That is not an unreasonable expectation at LSU.

We should be in contention every year. That’s not unrealistic.

Contention for what? The SEC? Regionals? A natty?
