Agree. Booing the team is never appropriate and classless. I definitely told my entire section to shut the frick up. If you were up in the nosebleeds with me in 651 that was me. And if you were one of the booers

Spot on man. It wasn't ten minutes after the game that some dumbass had a "Les should be fired " thread. I wish that some of these LSU "fans" could see and experience a "shitty" coach for real. It's not like we played ole miss and got killed. We played possibly the best Bama team of all time. Yes we played like shite , but our coaching staff got us to the national title game.
As far as JJ, the guy played like crap, but he has done more for LSU football than all those booing him will ever do combined. No tiger deserves to get booed by a tiger "fan". People need to realize that these YOUNG MEN aren't collecting a check. They are putting their health and body on the line everytime they strap up the chinstraps. Thank you to this senior class for a hell of a season

Agree with what you say about Miles. He's a good coach and LSU will be a force as long as is there. His players really respect him and I believe he's a man of character. But all coaches are going to have bad games and he had probably the worst he has had in his tenure in BR. As far as JJ goes, being booed goes with the territory when you are playing, as Miles calls it, "big boy" football. If he can't handle the criticism when he plays poorly then don't sign up to be QB. Yes he is 21...not 12!

You can't blame us fans for booing a terrible performance by the QB and coaching. Notice that Saban respected our run D and changed to more of a passing game, Miles ran the same shite all night long...

For me, if Jefferson can do that stupid superman bullshite everytime he had success then fans can boo him when he fricks up. If he can have interviews filled with "i" "me" "my goal" and "I think I made great decisions" rather than focussing on the team like other players (not just lee) have done, then he deserves to be boo'd.

Classless team player lacking any type of talent to justify continuing to play entire games. For 4 years we've heard how great he's come along in the off season. For 4 years we've seen a regression in his play. Remember before the fight this year he was talked about as a heisman candidate?? 1st half of Georgia and the entire National Championship game was the same shite we've seen since he was a freshman. Peace out, "jefferswag".

I love when people come on here with lecturing. JJ lost any innocence that would allow us to call him "21 year old kid" when he stomped that guy's head. JJ became LSU's most hated athlete of all time last night, and he deserves that title. However, the boos were for JJ's daddy, Mr. Les Miles.

More bullshite. They get a free education that others shell out tens of thousands for. They aren't doing this out of a sense of altruism. They've benefitted from the spoils system for years due to their talent and potential. If they don't want to risk being booed...quit.

Again, as previously mentioned people his age are being killed and maimed and you're whining about some fans booing. If there were no fans who felt passionately, half of these intellectual lightweights wouldn't have a shot at a college education and would continue to live in the morass in which they were raised. I say fair trade.

Booing is never acceptable!

However, how can one feel "bad" for Jefferson when Lee was thrown aside like garbage after leading this team to 8-0?

Last night, Lee was standing there like an eager little boy wanting to play and make things happen and he was shunned, COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. Never, ever given a chance to make something happen. Shame, complete shame and utter disgust of this coaching team. Undefeated or not, LSU has to humble it's players and realize that bullshite talk off the field does not win games.

I wish Jarret Lee the best in life and Jordan Jefferson-I could give a rat's arse about.

My parents own a store that sells LSU merchandise. They can look back at when we win championships and they can forecast how much they stand to make using that info and by how well they've done leading up to the game. Les Miles, his staff, and his boy JJ will cause them to miss out on 20-30k.

So I'm sorry if I get a little upset and voice my opinions even though I didn't block, kick, return a punt, tie shoes, wave a towel, pat an arse or whatever else you need to do to be able to criticize someone. The point is that it's not just a 21 year old kid, its not just a title game, it's an embarrassment and it trickles down and hurts small business owners. Schools and coaches aren't the only ones who profit off of success.

Les Miles did get us there. He did run a gauntlet of a schedule to do so. But in every other business out there - you can work on a ton of projects and do great on them, but frick the most important one up really bad... I'm not talking just "oh it got delayed and it went over budget a little bit" I'm talking royally frick up the biggest project you get - all those other projects you worked on don't mean shite. You lose your job. I'm not saying Les Miles should lose his job, but the working class people on here who live with that reality everyday that I just spelled out have every right to say that if they want to.

An college athlete who is surprised or shocked by booing in this situation should have played for a minor school in front of a few hundred friends and family, not a major college in a major conference.

I have to agree. Look, we're all disappointed with the outcome of this game. We should have been better prepared, and we were clearly out coached this time. But remember, 1) This was probably the 4th greatest season ever by LSU, some would argue the 3rd greatest, considering in 2007 we lost two games. 2) We're still loaded. Next year we'll still be strong if not stronger.

Look, Les deserves a lot of the blame with sticking with JJ for the entire game, but these same qualities of loyalty endears him to his team. We can't separate these qualities in him, whether it's good or bad for the team. CLM is what he is. And what he is, is a loyal, stubborn, damn fine coach. And yes, sometimes the loyalty and stubbornness will get us in trouble, but would you really prefer a return to Gerry DiNardo, Curley Hallman, or even a good but not great coach like Bill Arnsberger?
