Our last NC baseball team (2009) lost an SEC series to the last place finisher in the conference that year (Tennessee).
I just hope we can continue along, improve our deficiencies, and play our best ball in the postseason.

That’s a good point-out
Imagine if we had lost the series to #1 RPI Kentucky (god forbid lol)… I’m afraid some on this board would have melted hard.
I do actually think we have knowledgeable baseball fans as a whole but we also have very emotional/irrational fans. Especially on TD. But we knew this already

Golf comes to mind as does tennis, football, basketball, etc

We also have an offense that can score 4+ in almost any inning. People really lose their minds.

What’s so great about baseball “it ain’t over till it’s over”. With one play in 9th it’s over immediately or you keep playing to hell knows when. Great sport not on a damn time clock.

You can’t do anything about them. These are mentally ill individuals who thrive on negativity. The more negativity they can create the better they feel about themselves.
