A guide for watching baseball on SECN+/ESPN+

What channel are LSU baseball games on?
All SEC games (home/road) are televised on ESPN family of networks, which are ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, SECN, SECN+. All home OOC games are also found on one of these channels.
All road OOC games will usually not be covered by the above channels. This year those are La Tech, UNO, the series in Houston. LA Tech and UNO will probably be ESPN+. The Shriners classic is usually on TV in some fashion.
How can I watch on SECN+?
Games on SECN+ can be found on the ESPN app. You must download the app, and log in to the app using your cable log in. In order for this to work, the cable log in must have SECN in the cable package.
Can I watch SECN+ channels if I have ESPN+?
NO!!!!! ESPN+ is completely different from SECN+, and does not grant you access to those channels. You will however be able to watch the La Tech and UNO games using ESPN+.
I'm logged into my cable provider and still can't watch SECN+. Why?
First, check to make sure the account you are actually logged into is the correct account. Also make sure that account has access to SECN in the cable package. If this still doesn't work, some people have reported that logging out and back in has fixed it. Others have had success deleting the ESPN app and redownloading.

All of this is perfectly stated and someone will still argue that it's wrong and others will still have questions. We're going on 7 or 8 years now I believe and it's the same thing every year.

Great post - only thing I would add is that if you've got young kids and subscribe to the Disney + bundle, ESPN+ is included.

Preferable for what? To watch LSU baseball, or LSU anything really, yes. ESPN+ will get you a lot of the smaller conference sports games.

They should have changed the name of SECN+ when ESPN+ became a thing.

FYI - If you have Hulu and the Disney+/ESPN+ bundle, scroll down on the Hulu Home screen and you will see what is on ESPN+ as selectable choices while you are in Hulu.
(I may be slow, but I didn't realize until last night when I was trying to go through the ESPN app to get the ESPN+ content and couldn't get it to work.)

I need some help. I'm not terribly technologically inclined. Have a "mature" relative who is somewhat barely technologically inclined. He lives in assisted living so the cable is included in his rent. He can't use it to sign into the ESPN app since he doesn't have his own account any longer. He can somewhat operate his ipad. He has a smart tv, but I don't know which brand if that matters.
I'm trying to find a streaming service he might be able to use. We can't go over there every time a game is on and do it for him. All he wants this for is to watch LSU sports. My very limited research shows Sling TV as a cheaper option for him, but I have no idea how it works.
Can anyone suggest the best option for me to look into for him?

Someone usually streams the games on YouTube or you could just give the relative your login info.

Any streaming service that carries SECN on live tv should work. I'm not best to answer this because I use Cox to log in, so I'm not sure of what each streaming service offer and the prices.
Do you have Cox, or some other cable where you could possibly share a log in with him?

Once in the espn app. Find the college baseball scoreboard, find the game, and then click the watch button.
1)
2) Scroll
3)
If you click the "watch" button at the bottom, you're directed to the ESPN+ for $$$.
I'm big mad because Apple TV removed the ESPN app.
