I hope you’re right, but LSU has played exactly one decent team this year so far. We are lucky to have a weak conference this year. We should win every game except the SECCG. I’m guessing we lose that and the bowl game. Stats will look good for many various reasons - but this team won’t be playing the schedule it did in 2011 or 2019. It will be a decent year for us - but this team hasn’t turned that corner of being great just because they clobbered two very weak teams. We are doing the literal thing that we used to hate on Oregon, Ohio State etc for. We lose to the one good team and run it up on the weaker teams and go “yea but did you see what we did to grambling?!” We need to keep improving. All this “where the haters at now” talk is embarrassing. It’s like putting your bumpers up on bowling or changing your game difficulty to easy mode and talking smack before you prove anything.

It’s really annoying when people have this all or nothing mindset and make up their minds before the games are played. Basically you’re saying nothing Daniels can do will persuade you other than having a Joe Burrow type season. You sound like a bang wagon fan that started rooting for lsu after the Texas game in 2019.

If your expectation is having a similar season to Joe Burrow and anything else means the team sucks, then please be prepared to be disappointed.

It’s very possible to have a good quarterback and offense without having a 2019 type of team.

You sound like a real douche, I bet you are just miserable to go to the games with.

You've got them losing to TBD in the bowl game? There's some objective analysis..

If we continue to improve like we have, there is not a team in the country we can’t compete with.

Excited to see the secondary gel on defense and the run game continue to open up.
The more Jayden lets that ball fly, the more balanced the offense has the potential to be. As ironic as that sounds, it’s true.
Last year we all were yelling at the tv for JD to throw the ball. This is his last chance to show the scouts what happens when he does let it fly, on a CONSISTENT basis.
Here’s to consistency moving forward!!

Yet you still have posters saying Daniels under threw or was late on passes Saturday.

He did and will become more glaring against good sec defenses with a pulse

Really 4th as three players in front of him on the NCAA stats list have played 4 games.

The two biggest weaknesses on this team by a tremendous margin are continuity due to all of the portal guys in prominent roles on defense and quality depth.

The one game all season where those two weaknesses are all but guaranteed not be a factor is the bowl game after we have a month to heal, rest up, and practice. Yet that's one of the games you assume we lose?

He had the best completion percentage in the history of LSU football in over 30 attempts on the road against an SEC team. So yes. If he only completes 70% of his passes this week, it will be glaring.

Hell Daniels stats are on par with what joes were at this point on the season. At least Pretty close I’d imagine. You can’t dismiss plays he’s still making with his legs as well

The big double move Daniels threw when Nabers was wide open was an underthrow but when a receiver is that open you are taught to put the ball on him to prevent missing the throw. If people are honestly claiming these things then they are just showing their stupidity.

Your statement is stupidity. Been around football most of my life. Hitting the receiver in stride is the goal. Never been with a team that coached anything else.

I don't get on here bashing players, and am happy to see the improvements in Daniel's passing this year. His timing and accuracy is still off on a number of plays, even on some plays that are successful. That is what my eyes see. I am pleased that Daniels is letting it rip more often this year. We are a talented offensive team this year!

Defense needs to step up now and we’ve got a shot to get back to the SECCG

your eyes don’t know routes or protections. If the receiver made the right read. If the line picked up the rush.

All these things make a difference. We don’t know them. But this board can only focus on one component

It is always the QB fault
