My favorite non-play moment in Tiger Stadium was during the Oregon State game in 2004. It was very muddy on the field, and I had front row seats. The Golden Girls performed what was basically a mud wrestling routine right in front of me... and then... this is the best part... they used the team's pressurized water dispensers to hose each other off afterwards. It was so great, I called my wife to tell her all about it.
She didn't seem to get it.

I wore some shorts with inner netting similar to swim trunks to the LSU/ULM game that was delayed by lightning. It was raining incredibly hard before the game, and I had to pee. So I just...did. Nobody noticed, and it washed away.

1958 Billy Cannon 90 yard run against O'l Piss. I was there.

October 6, 2001 vs. UF. First game in Tiger Stadium after 9/11. At halftime, the band took a knee and played Amazing Grace. Unforgettable, except for all of you who were probably drunk.

Same game, Borne at the end of the 3rd quarter saying, "Ladies and gentlemen, the sun is going down over the western upper deck, which means it's Saturday Night in Tiger Stadium."
this
then the blocked field goal, and the end of the 4th qt.
ofcourse followed by lee throwing into triple coverage for a pick, and the nail in our coffin

LSU Auburn 2001- the on-side kick to start the game when everyone had cigars

Ohio State in '87. pregame excitement was insane as it was the CBS national game of the week between 2 top ten teams. most media hyped game i can remember as a kid. before kickoff, both teams refused to come out of their tunnel. it was like two boxers staring each other down. the crowd went nuts.

The whiskey showers after the blocked field goal against Bama in 08. I get goose bumps every time I think about it.

ALL Tiger Band stuff. First Pre-Game marched down on the field. First Pre-Game doing the "Bass Drum Beat." Bass Drum solos in 81 (Sing Sing Sing) and 82 (Big Noise from Winnetka) are at the top of the list.......

In 2000 or 2001, I think. Fla was kicking our arse and kicked a PAT into the North Endzone stands (student section area for those that are directionally challenged). Fans took the ball and played keep away from the security guards until it reached the top of the stadium, then somebody threw it over the wall. Funny moment in an otherwise forgettable game.
Of course, the fans took it to far and started doing it for every game thereafter until a net was put up.

For me, it was during my student days. I sat in the front row next to the tunnel. Well, during the ULM game (I think) in about 2004, a tropical storm made landfall and it started storming pretty bad in the stadium. The teams were led off the field and everyone was asked to go into the walkways, but it wasn't an option. I ended up standing in about a foot of water. The students that did stay, got rowdy and kept the energy going until the teams came back onto the field.
Does anyone else remember what game that was for sure? Oh, and what storm?

Whats your most memorable moment in Tiger Stadium that didn't involve a play?
Running down the stairs and then to mid-field after the 2000 Tennessee game and watching the students run off with a goal post.

Hodson to Fuller against Auburn about 100 feet away from me.
The Tigers kept flirting with scoring and played incredible defense that whole game. The anticipation of finally scoring against them to go up by 1 with a minute and some change left...I have goosebumps right now just thinking about it.
The explosion of the crowd realizing that the ball was in fact in Fuller's hands and he fell backwards - will never be matched.

LSU vs Tennessee in 2000. Me and my dad stormed the field with everyone else and being 11 at the time it was a mind boggling experience

Eddie Kennison's punt return, where he covered most of the field, at one point or another.
Was in the West Upper, and got to see the whole thing develop.

This. I don't think we sat the entire game. And no one bitched for us to.
