Reese about to double her NIL sponsors and Mulkey about to double the amount of donations for the athletic department.

I'm gonna go out of my way to try to watch her as much as i can next season, even if its just game highlights and follow her WNBA career, she changed how I view womens basketball

All the big names really helped out for the viewers. People who normally wouldn't watch did because we had heard and seen so much about the Clark gal and Kim Mulkey. Her clothes are enough to view in. What a combination for the viewers. Great game!!!

The last 2 LSU games were polar opposites. The LSU/Miami game might’ve legitimately been the worst sporting event I’ve ever watched.

Mulkey said something that the players thought the ball was overinflated and was giving them trouble. At the time I thought nothing of it. But them scoring 180 points in two games in Dallas makes me think there was something off that day.

Most watched girls game of all time
Everyone in sports media talking about Angel today

A truly watershed weekend for women’s college hoops. When the product delivers, people will pay attention, no matter what it is

Hate or love what Reese did, she and CKM got LSU Women's basketball being talked about all over America now. We're about to be elite.

For some CB perspective on 9.9 million viewers for the women's championship game.
That's more than last season's:
-- Sugar, Orange and Cotton Bowls
-- Big 12, Pac-12 and ACC title games
-- Notre Dame-USC
-- LSU-Alabama
-- Ohio St-Penn St
-- Bama-Texas A&M primetime on CBS

Also more than every game of last seasons NBA/MLB playoffs except the Finals and World Series and every nascar race since 2017. -Stewart Mandel

I’ve never seen womens basketball talked about so much in last 24 hours.

All the big shows this morning opened with it.

Whether you agree with what angel did or not, the whole country was TALKING about it and that’s a massive win for the sport in general.

Yeah, once LSU rallied from 9 down to beat VT (who was absolutely on fire), I felt that anything was possible in the title game no matter how tall the task because it was hard to beat VT on that day. LSU somehow managed to do it.

That was a great game and that SC vs. Iowa showdown was epic. Clark had the best game I've ever seen a woman have against a top team. Those games and Clark's performance made for a lot of excitement heading into the title game. And outside of those first few minutes, LSU played a damn-near perfect game when you consider the stage and opponent.

Usually it gets between 17-22M. Ratings have been lower than normal for the men’s tournament though without the usual big name teams so I’d guess it gets around 15-17M.

Let’s give (ratings) credit to Iowa’s superstar.
Watching her play is worth the price of admission. If the refs let them play who knows what the score would have been. Tigers brought their A game and never let up - even after 13-0 Hawkeye run. Geaux Tigers!!!

Vanilla Ice vs Bayou Barbie for the gold.

Have to agree here. That game was absolutely brutal to watch. But the National championship game was fantastic. Ups and downs I guess.

They were smart to put it on ABC instead of ESPN and have it during the day on the weekend instead of at night on a weekday. I think Clark was the biggest draw since she led them in knocking off Goliath in SC and was simply incredible to watch.

Also, I bet many people also watched due to Mulkey (I bet a lot of people were watching hoping she'd lose only to be sorely disappointed). The ratings were up 102% from last year when SC and UCONN played on ESPN.

And this game game on at 2:30 CT, I think if it had a later time slot it would have been much higher.
