Long but fun story …
Sat there years ago and had this happen… two boys next to me tap me and ask Sir could you help us.. said sure what is up.. they said something is wrong with my dad.. I looked and he was passed out .. spilled coke and just limp.. I asked has he been drinking a lot of alcohol.. they said no sir.. I tried to wake him.. he did not move.. I jumped up started asking for a police officer.. guy a few rows up flew done and said let me look . I am a doctor.. cops came running over.. we lifted him and managed to get him moved and they carried him off … half time show goes on .. people coming back to seats and yup.. he comes walking back with his sons… we look at him.. he says they put him in a room under the stadium with ac and gave him an iv.. he was good and enjoyed the second half..

It’s a bit of a different situation. The Big 10 and Fox have been trying to push Friday night games for years now, but Ohio State and Michigan have fought it tooth and nail every step of the way. They have a legitimate gripe about it - both of their stadiums hold over 100k. Imagine the complete shite show that would occur with BR traffic playing LSU games on Friday nights. Also the loss of attendance numbers that would go along with that.
The Big 10, instead of punting on the whole thing and telling Fox “this won’t work,” has basically decided to let them skate but make everyone else play on Fridays.
Imagine if the SEC wanted to do something like this, Georgia and Alabama said “hell no,” and the SEC made everyone except them play Friday night games. It would be outrageous.
I think the Michigan situation says more about the politics of the Big 10 than it does about Michigan’s AD.
