The truly impressive part was the volume. 32-35 is amazing.

high free throw % is probably the most critical point if you want to win march madness

Wade made them make 100 free throws after practice cause he knew they’d get fouled a lot tonight.

That's insane. I've always been a good shooter. Can't do much else, but could always shoot. If I got a million chances to go 30/31 I would never be able to do it. I used to practice free throws for hours and hours in the driveway and still never could have done that.

It was a big part at building that lead before half, SC couldn’t buy a FT and missed the front end of 1&1’s. It added up....

We are .755 for the season. Record is .770 for LSU back in the late 80s.

All time LSU steals per game is 10.5
Averaging 9.8 this season.

Wuttttt? The 1980-81 team Final Four team went 31-5. That's 86.1%.

Two different stats. Winning percentage vs free throw percentage.

You sure you’re a good shooter? I haven’t touched a ball in a few years. Give me 1 hour to practice and I could probably go 30/31

Great improvement over the ole miss game. LSU wins by 20+ if they have a better ft%

What was crazy is this: I watched Emmitt in the warmups. He stayed for a really long time at the free throw line and literally couldn’t buy a free throw! Then he steps up to the line during the game and looks like the greatest free throw shooter you can imagine.

They were 28-31 (90.3%) vs UNCG. It the reason they won despite being awful on defense.

They’re shooting 81% in SEC play. And that’s with a “bad” 20-30 night vs Ole Miss

Every time Naz gets on the line I flash back to Shaq and then Naz sinks the shot and I feel surprised.
