9.875 for Shania is also impossible with a lean and a hop on the landing

LSU closes out the match with nothing less than 9.925 on every floor routine, including a 10 by Bryant.

Hopefully these judges aren't back for another meet at LSU. there have been 10+ routines with over a full .10 split, thats embarrassing.

Idk how NCAA has allowed judging to deteriorate as bad as it has the last two years.

Anyways solid meet.

The scoring debacle aside, it was another great meet for LSU! Our floor rotation is insane! On a different note, OU really does have the ugliest leos. My goodness!

I think this is LSU's best floor lineup talent wise they've ever had. What's scary is it could be even better next season when we add Chio and Lincoln to the mix.

Watching OU vs Michigan. So far, OU looks really really good. Strange that OU has such a small arena (~10,500) for such a big time sports school. And its only 4 years younger than the PMAC.

I’m afraid the only way OU doesn’t win again this year is if they have to count a fall or something. I just don’t see anyone that can compete with them. It should be us with the talent we have but we can’t seem to get routine construction & lineups right.

I hope we get overscored all the way to a championship. God knows we've lost to overscoring. But I am an absolute homer when it comes to all LSU sports

If we can get stuck dismounts especially on vault and bars I say that we are right there with them. It would also be nice if we can get Chase doing the 1 and 1/2 for all 10.0 start value vaults. That would make us more competitive. But we only have a few more meets to get everything polished up. They definitely have the potential to win though for the first time in a while, so that’s exciting!

I’m just not getting my hopes up. We haven’t put together a complete meet yet this year. We’re competing our best gymnasts in AA every week when we don’t have to, the same issues week in and week out, questionable lineup choices…it’s the same stuff every year.

They have the talent but they will have to be spot on on post season when it counts. OU just seems like they operate like machines, they do have their mistakes but they just seem to dial in to landings more consistently than the rest of the country as of now.

Gotta hit bars and vault landings IMO.

Also come post season, it realistically needs to be close as possible to SIX 10.0 vaults. Vault is one of the few places we could make up for some weak spots on bars and beam but we have to maximize that event especially.
