Hats off to them. Have the balls to do what Alleva doesn't. I thought only LSU fans aren't happy with 3 loss seasons?????

I guess Richts dance moves in the locker room weren't cool enough?

well... they had, by what some here, consider a "successful" year.... however, they want to improve upon that.... they are moving in a different direction... they have the balls to make that call, unpopular as it may be, and i'm sure it is... but still, they did it...

and, ps, we are becoming the georgia of the west, fyi... lots of wins, but sitting at home come SECCG time....

They've been dealing with that mediocrity for quite a while. They are way over due if consider that a "bold" move.

Les Miles has been to 2 national championship games, including one just 4 seasons ago.

Miles should be given more leeway than Richt...

When I think of programs to emulate, Georgia certainly vaults to the top of the list.

But there's a second half of the equation. Let's see who they bring in to replace him. If we see a bunch of "HAHAHAHAHA!! Georgia is a bunch of dumbasses!" type of threads then, well...

bullshite. THe only difference between Richt and Miles is that Miles' two loss team was selected to go play in the NC instead of Richts' two loss team.

THat UGA team would've skull fricked us.

Plus Les is a great guy. That is instant leeway on its own.

They have an AD with balls & does not care what cry baby settle for mediocrity mentality fans have to say. It's mind over matte, he does not mind cause they don't matter.

Why do you think LSU rivals support keeping this idiot coach? Almost a guaranteed win especially Alabama or Arkansas and soon to be UF and trending OM. They also see him like Whimp Sanderson saw Dale Brown. With all that talent I was worried then realized who is the coach. Mediocrity has settled in @ LSU. LSU is and will continue to be owned by Alabama as long as miles is at LSU.If Dabo replaced Saban, he would own his arse. No one in college football wants this coach except the passive settle for fans at LSU. Wallow in your medoricity with this idiot coach.
