re: If I'm Calipari, I go Box and 1 on Simmons and blow LSU out by 20+

Box and 1 is middle school stuff.
They just need to be smart and timely with their double team, trapping, and rotations. ...
re: CFB Playoff Exec Direc. said Saban and Meyer advised against 8 team playoff

I like it how it is. I liked the BCS how they tried to get the 2 best teams to play for the championship.
But sometimes the #3 team had an argument.
So to remedy that, they added the #3 team and #4 team to the mix so now everyone who is deserving of playing for the National Championship can ...
So if the sex noises were lower in volume, you would be okay with it?
I don't know... I mean, it's also kind of awkward if you're watching a show and the next scene cuts on and it's just some woman getting drilled from behind for 20 seconds.
And it's also annoying when it happens l...
How many people here hate sex scenes in TV shows?
Posted by Ralph Nader on 1/5/16 at 10:31 am
I've been watching The Americans. A lot of the show is just people talking in somewhat hushed voices, so I have to turn the volume up a good bit to hear.
Then they cut to the next scene which is some woman getting plowed and moaning her head off.
Sounds like I'm watching porn or something. ...

re: Do other conferences suck off each other like the SEC?
Posted by Ralph Nader on 1/2/16 at 2:26 pm
but that doesn't and should carry over to next year.
But it does carry over and you know it. When the SEC is considered to be the best conference, it helps all teams in the conference in the rankings.
So? There were still just as many teams from the B1G and Big XII in the...
Who gives a crap about "looking better?"
You either win or you don't.
Bottom-line.
Iowa, TCU, Stanford, etc would not have had a problem of making the playoff if they took care of business.
Do you think people sit around saying "LSU looks a lot better after losing because Alab...
No. The post I referred to was someone beating his chest over teams that LSU beat beating other teams. I mentioned Arkansas because Toledo.
I wasn't even talking about this year specifically. I was talking about in general.
It makes LSU look better when the teams they beat in their...
Like Arkansas? Or Florida? Or A&M?
Louisville was 5th in the ACC and Texas A&M was 9th in the SEC.
If Louisville played the 5th best team in the SEC they would have played Georgia or LSU.
Florida was a completely different team after they lost their QB.
And I do...
I hate the stupid pro sec crap. Seriously this has to be one of the stupidest things. So what your rivals beat some team? Who cares? How does that help you in any way shape or form?
Because we know how brutal the SEC is.
People in the Pac12, Big10, ACC, and Big12 don't believe it's...
Not sure how timely this thread is as they seem to be making a comeback over the past few years. Quite a few now.

Why aren't there more white running backs?
Posted by Ralph Nader on 1/1/16 at 4:05 pm
There are a lot of strong and fast white guys out there.
I mean, they might not be Tyson Gay on the track... but they don't have to be the absolute fastest guys on the field.
There are plenty of white guys who are fast enough to be a good running back.
So why are they so rare? I mean...

Watching it on the big screen with surround sound is pretty cool because it sounds like you would hear the game in the stadium.
Plus the camera angles are pretty cool.
It's a nice switch-up from the regular broadcast.
The game feels much more intense when you just hear the sounds of ...
