singing his former coordinator Steve Ensminger’s (Slinger) praises.

Slinger talk starts at 3:20
AUDIO: @Willie_Roaf singing his former coordinator Steve Ensminger’s praises

Can't wait to learn how much more the Rant experts know than some suckass NFL Hall-of-Fame player.

So a guy who retired 13 years ago likes Ensminger? That did it I’m sold on Ensminger. An offensive lineman that retired over a decade ago likes Ensminger must mean he’s the best OC in college football. I’m sold

We have one Rantard who knows more than an NFL hall of famer. There has to be more.

I can see the headline now..

“Reluctant 59 yr old OC becomes greatest thing since sliced bread”

Well one player Ensminger coached 28 years ago loves him then he will obviously be successful here at LSU. I mean who could question that

Good points as usual. I mean what does Roaf know about football compared to YOU?

What an utterly stupid comment. Not everything is either or like you seem to think. Players have a different relationship with coaches and most will say good things he’ll maybe even believe his coach was the best. Ask Shaq about Dale Brown or scores of LSU players about Miles and you’ll get similar comments.

Also Roaf hasn’t played for SE in what 25+ years?

What does a hall of fame offensive lineman have to do with a coaches ability to develop quarterbacks? Or his ability to create and install in own offense for the first time in 20 years? I don't doubt he knows football but to say there isn't good reason for doubt is silly.

Good to see someone likes him, seems pretty hard to find anyone who is a big fan of Coach E. From the rant to the media everyone has been hating. I don't know if Roaf is right but I sure do love to hear optimism concerning the subject.

So you admit this thread is just bait.

And I’d try to explain why old NFL players liking Steve is about as relevant as our O line coach’s super bowl ring you’re always splooging over but since you avoid discussion wherever possible I’m sure it’ll just fall on deaf ears.

This is an outstanding point, Willie Roaf is clearly right that because he played at a high level.

Also keep in mind Roafs opinion of a guy he played for over 25 years totally relev but Os record at Ole Miss way in the past and doesn’t matter

Let me know if he was a hall of fame Athletic Director and I will give a shite about his coach selections. The head coach is loaded with a history of fail and so is Ensminger. Find one OTHER school that was slightly interested in either coach as a coordinator.
