I'm just as happy about the crushing of the bees as the rest of you but the season was still a huge dissapointment. 5 losses was more than I expected even in a 'rebuilding' season.

The win takes away some of the pain but I really hope the players feel the bitter dissapointment of the season and come back on a mission next year.

I hope they don't rest on this win because in the long run, it doesn't mean that much.

And a really fat person who loses 20 pounds is still fat, but only an a-hole tells him that.

P.S. -- Your spelling of "disappointment" is a disappointment.

An a-hole who cares about the person and wants his to shape up.

Thanks for the spelling correction.

I am slightly disappointed, but it makes you savor the good times. I am as happy was ever to be a tiger fan. I was in college during the Hallman years and an LSU first down was a rare occurrence.

LSU was 16-28 under hallman. My disappointment is highly limited

Love the optimism. Great way to start the new year. I saw a great football team in LSU last night. That's the best I've seen them play all year. Makes me look forward to next year.

Good to see the negatigers are alive and well and the game last night didn't dampen their spirits. Happy friggin' New Year.

I, for one, see last night as a fresh start for our team with an exciting young quarterback who over the course of a few weeks rallied his team around him and they responded. I'm proud of the way they rose above all the negativity and the unbelievers. This is a team who had no leadership at quarterback, poor leadership at defensive coaching, an unsupportive fan base (to a large degree) and yet they managed to come together and show their Tiger pride. I am proud of them, and the win, and am excited about next year. This year is over and looking back serves no purpose whatsoever.

I sat in tiger stadium and saw us lose game after game in the Dinardo era. But the program has invested more since then and the standards are different now.

This is not on Les Miles. The players need to feel it.

They're still 18-22 year olds. Think about all the players who had significant playing time that we lost, the RP stuff, and coming off a Championship. I predicted 9 wins, but going to a bowl game and beating the hell out of a top 15 team is a fine way to end the year.

Glass half-empty eh? We ended the season on a high, we should jump back into the top-25. Looks like we have ourselves a great QB who will only get better. We are bringing in one of the best recruiting classes ever. A new DC that knows what he is doing. Im happy right now it could have been so much worse.

There are many folks with psychological deficits who are unable to get off the same damn thing over and over again. They are unable to move forward. Many of them end up in jail, eventually.
