Who said we were hating on Surtain? We’re hating on the people we have a right to hate on. Namely, JBE, fricking Alexander, Joe Alleva, and our fearless leader, Ed Orgeron.

Did you really experience 1989-1995 or are you just hearing things because if you did, you would damned well rather this.

You are very indicative of what Saban used to complain about when he was at LSU. First, you are an ingreat....2. You suffer from Catastrophe Syndrome. Catastrophe Syndrome can be treated by the Midol that I want to send to you. Number 1......well, that's on your parents

When you settle for 8-4 seasons you end up going 6-6 or 5-7

finally brought in a offense that has some semblance to modern football and recruited the big hosses for once and got us a 6-2 sec record, our best in years. Solid start for the first full year.

Been worse than Les.

Worse record than the guy that was fired.

You can’t make this shite up.

How does the LSU football program pre-Orgeron compare to the same program pre-Mac?

Well, they did win the NC in 1958 and went 9-2 in 1959

It's not 2011 any more either. We're past that stage, too. 8-4 & 9-3 are not elite results, but they're the best we can hope for in the foreseeable future. This is going to get worse before it gets better. A lot worse. The idea of LSU as an elite program is just flat-out laughable at this point.

Fair enough. But I think it's reasonable to ask what evidence is there to point to which suggests LSU is a program trending up to being on a championship level once more. Remember, fair or unfair, Miles was not fired because he was having losing seasons.

Is it that LSU hired a HC literally no other power conf. program in America wanted as their HC?

Is it that LSU's HC ran off his OC after one season and paid an additional $1.7 mill to do it?

Is it that LSU's HC replaced his OC with a guy who (a) was a member of the same offensive staff that part of the "problem" under Miles (b) could have been hired as OC last season, thus saving at least $2 million (c) no one else wanted as their OC or (d) LSU had to bid against itself to convince to take the OC job he really didn't want?

Is it that LSU's HC who was ONLY known for his recruiting ability just turned in an incomplete class ranked as one of the worst for LSU in the last 15 years?

Now I don't think LSU is going to go 3-9 next season. But it's not unreasonable to have some significant concerns based upon the last 2 years worth of decisions.

You can blame Alleva for that ( 90%) and the va gi gi's on the rant that Alleva was listening to..... "oh Jimbo really loves Baton Rouge." First you go and try to find a replacement for Miles, then when the ONLY person you were talking to makes you look like a sucker, you go back to the guy you were going t fire and tell him it's OK we still want you to be our coach and then compound the stupidity 4 games into the next season by firing him.

After that, what self respecting coach would work for a boss like Alleva and a bunch of Divas that are our fans????

You guys make it seem as though Matt Canada was in the midst of creating something ....remarkable. Canada was a dick.....not only was he a dick, he was a backstabbing dick that no one on the staff got along with. From what I understand , no one was sad to see him leave NC State and at Pitt, the staff actually celebrated when he left.

Miles was the biggest problem on Miles' staff....offensively.....I'm not wild about the hire, but, I won't criticize a guy who wore the LSU uniform and took he hits.

Point taken, but we've had Top 5 classes in the past few years and they have not gotten us past 9 wins a year in fact, I think in 2014 we had the #2 class in the country.....man.... wasn't getting to the playoff great?

Orgeron is not your problem......Alleva is the problem
