I hope he wins 7 nattys in a row but seems like we never learn when it comes to giving long contracts to unproven coaches

Not only is Wade PROVEN, he’s PROVEN he can do it at LSU. He took over a losing record team, and by Year 2 won the SEC. Made the tournament every year, except Year 1 when he took over a shite team. Yes I’m including COVID year, LSU was in.

He bought 5 star players to come before nil. The pocket change he was giving them isn’t going to cut it this go round. So he won’t have those talented teams he had back then just to go to the first or second round

You can’t be this dense, can you? Every big program was paying players in CBB, for YEARS before Wade came around. That includes his biggest conference competitors across the SEC too. If NIL is your only gotchu point with Wade, explain, how he dominated at small school McNeese for 2 consecutive years? He had a nonexistent NIL budget there in comparison to the top programs in CBB.

They were paying players for years but not at the level they are doing now. Wade probably gave recruits $5000 to $10,000. Do you think any 5 stars will accept that today?
