Just people being led by their emotions. No one with the numbers has really had a standout season in a decade it seems. Like someone else said, just need a couple of guys to break the curse and make the numbers relevant again. If Weeks is 100% healthy, he seems like a no-brainer for 18.

I wonder if wearing the #7 or #18 jersey boosts a player’s NIL earnings potential. I’d bet some agents already negotiate it into players’ contracts.

I am honestly a fan of giving an 18 to someone on both sides of the ball like they did with Greg Penn & Josh Williams. This year I'd go Treydez for 7, Whit Weeks 18 on D, & Bo Bordelon wearing an 18 patch like Lloyd Cushenberry did on the o-line. Give a little credit to Bo for sticking it out through 4 years of special teams & tight end reps and now possibly getting a starting nod as a redshirt senior.
