That's why 20 wins is basically the benchmark in league play if you want to be a national seed.

More like the benchmark of winning an SEC title a lot of years. We’ve been a national seed with fewer than 20 multiple times, and as few as 17 wins. I really want to know where this 20 wins to get a national seed narrative started. That’s simply never been the threshold in this conference.

A&M is 9-6. That’s who I was talking about.

Is LSU going to face teams worse than 27-20 in the supers and Omaha?

Sportsbooks still have A&M with the 6th best odds to win the CWS, 7th best odds to make the CWS.

Justify the two blown saves all you want.

Should lsu make the supers it is very likely that A&m will be a stronger opponent than lsu will face in the supers. Team was preseason #1.....started 1-8, and 9-6 since then with 4 series wins and was swept by Texas at Texas in 3 close games....no one wants to see a&m in a regional.

Yes they have won 4 of 5 series...playing much better....definitely a shot at Omaha...people who thi k they are garbage are casual fans and just look at record. They have a lot of talent.

That said, lsu choked.

Of course I dont....only been watching g lsu religiously through the past 40 years...call it what you want...Cowan in fact was brought in twice with the lead over the weekend and gave up the lead on both occasions.....hopefully just two poor outings otherwise we are cooked.

LSU never had the lead in GM1. Again you are clueless

Just last season, Georgia was the #7 National Seed and had a 17-13 SEC record.

Texas A&M was the #3 National Seed with a 19-11 SEC record last season as well.

Only 2 ended up ranked and neither in the Top 10. A&M started off the year terribly, but they have played as well as anyone over the last 5 weeks. It’s not at all comparable.

“Only” 2 out of 3 ended up ranked. Or only 1 ended up unranked. Mississippi State made it to the CWS and ended up in the top 10. Funny how you’re using mid season rankings for 2025 but post season for 2007.

Ok. Who moved the Rant and replaced it with, with, with whatever this is?

There’s no room for reason and logic on the rant!

I was using the current rankings for 2025, which is the best we have at the moment.
