Does Hill get a RS? I'd like to think so.

nah, hybrid FB/ TB. and with the Samoan added to the OL, we bout to maul ppl even worse than last yr.

redemption time...

Plus Dworszcak (sp?) coming back on the O-line and our stable running behind a 270 pound FB in Copeland.
Jesus Gawd Mett must be licking his chops at our running game setting up the pass to Shep, OBJ, Boone, Wright, Williams, Fobbs, Holmes, Dural, Clement, Turner, etc.

For you older posters, is there something about Blue that reminds you of Eric Dickerson when he was at SMU? I really would hate to see him moved to WR.

Hilliard is our best RB and really needs to touch the ball more. I think Blue is our second best RB. I'm really hoping that Hilliard and Blue become our 1-2 punch and Ford be the #3 guy.

Not knocking you but what you are saying is that the starter from last year (when these others were there as well) should now be 4th team at best?

We have an extremely good problem here.

There is no problem.

We used the same running backs last year to near perfection.

It's clear the coaches know what they are doing in this department.

Hopefully, all 5-6 of LSU's running backs will contribute significantly to the Tigers 2012 success.

Petition the SEC to allow us to line up 15 players on offense....

Ware has limited vision.

He wasn't the same back after the auburn suspension last year.

He'd take a hand off, and immediately look down and run into the pile. It was weird.

We will probably lose Ware and Ford to the draft and Hilliard the following year. It will even things out over time.

How in the world do Ware and Ford go to the NFL a year early when the Rant experts claim they can't even crack the 2-deep at LSU???

Hill aint redshirting unless he gets hurt. He's already sat out a year.

Exactly. He looks ready to produce in a big way. I doubt anybody sees the number of carries Ware had in a few games last year.

What's wrong with having too much depth at any position? Play them all,and have 6 rb's over 500 yards rushing and just dominate the Sec

Did you watch the last few games of the season? Hilliard was clearly the best of the bunch and Ware was clearly the worst. If he wants to remain starter, he needs to earn it just like everyone else

Ware - 4 ypc
Hilliard - 5 ypc
Ford - 5.5 ypc
Blue - 5.9 ypc

Ware is the best blocker and probably understands the offense better. IMO, that is what gives him the nod as the starter. However, if we go to the wishbone we could play 3 RBs at a time.
