If he didn't understand the design of the play was to rub the defender so the WR comes free then that makes it worse..

Yes the result was ultimately good but you smooth brains cannot string together two ideas conceptually for shite.

Could have also been called an illegal offensive pick penalty if Daniel's throws it.

What if they were switching there with some type of banjo coverage, on his first read he saw that DB over the top still had outside leverage.

And if that’s your playcall how is that not a sprint right for Jayden giving him a true pass/run option. Not impressed with Denbrock so far especially with him forcing the 12 personnel stuff.

Some people here think boutte should be a team player and not be upset he’s not getting the ball. But if you imagine yourself in his shoes youd understand why he should be upset. He wants to improve his draft stock. He went from feeling pretty optimistic about going off this year to solidify a first round pick to barely getting the ball through his 1st few games. It’s easy to tell a young man to keep his head up and things will get better. But the truth is we do not have a qb this year that can zip it through tight windows or drop dimes regularly through the air. I feel somewhat bad for him.

Did you not see the short passes earlier that he just missed? What if it’s a bad pass? What if Boutte drops the ball?
Sure sounds like you’re complaining

Why would you want something that over time will lead to a greater chance of losing. It makes no sense for a QB to run when he has open receivers. Do people just not get this? If the receive is open down field running is an inferior choice. He cannot run it so fast as he can pass it.

Running is the "option" when there is no one open down field.

I agree with you. Pretty sure OP is just saying that better teams will start to contain Daniels better bc they want to force him to have to make those throws. He needs to start knowing when to make the throw and when to run. Yes it worked that time but that doesn’t mean it will again. If your first reads open ( and he was idc what yall say, defender stumbled) you take that play. Noone is bitching bc he scored, we are just worried abt what will he do when he cant just tuck and run. He needs to understand when to throw and when to tuck is all. Muscle memory

The good thing is teams will have to count on him rushing the ball down there. Should equate to more zone defenses. Should make pre snap easier

This is a team sport, not an individual sport. Scoring more points than the other team is the objective. Why should we care if someone’s feeling are hurt because someone else scores touchdowns.

We 100% should not care.

Nobody cares abt someones feelings. We care about execution and knowing when to go to your first read and not your last option when the play call is there

Not nobody. There are people complaining that their perception of Daniels' playing style is going to get the receivers upset.

Im talking about the majority who dont think tht will hppen but im not saying it wont. I understand that the wrs may stop giving their routes 100% if they don’t expect to get the ball when they are open. If you do your job like you’re supposed to and the other guy doesn’t and just makes his own decision, i can see where frustration can set in and then lack of effort can happen.
