This may be unpopular but should we demonstrate leadership and be progressive by going after Katie Sowers for our PGC, assuming she’s qualified?

I don’t give a crap about “progress”, only about hiring the best person for the job. She ain’t it.

Who is she? When you make a thread like this, can you at least give some background for those of us that don't know much about her, her background and her position?

She’s the one on the 49ers sidelines with the nice arse... other than Garoppolo.

I predict she bounces around between San Francisco and Seattle.

Their prog fans will love it.

LSU's passing game this year looked better than SF. No thanks.

I don't care if it's E.T., Bugs Bunny, ALF or Al Bundy. Who ever Coach O thinks is the best candidate, that's who he should hire. But, don't just hire a woman to to be progressive.

What? Just because she’s a gay female NFL Assistant Coach, she needs a boyfriend? Why not a girlfriend, you insensitive prick? What the hell would a lesbian want with a boyfriend?

Not too woke!

Not pandering. She’s qualified. And has NFL experience. Why not get a qualified person and an LGBT woman at the same time? It would be groundbreaking!

I want someone with experience in a creative passing game. I'd take someone from KC's staff before SF's. Reid is up there with Payton as far as offensive genius goes and guys under him are more likely to run something like what we saw last year. Shanahan's style is pretty different

Really?

As coach:

Atlanta Falcons (2016)
Training camp assistant

San Francisco 49ers (2017–2018)
Seasonal offensive assistant

San Francisco 49ers (2019– present )
Offensive assistant

You would want that type of resume over others that have been said to have interest or interviewed?

And has NFL experience

So do the majority of the potential candidates so far.

an LGBT woman

This should have zero impact on who we hire.
