Same boat. Ticket holder since Curleys first year. I’m fed up with the whole parking, traffic concession, restroom BS. I’m bringing all my grandkids to the ULM game and that’s the end for me

"Bye."
Another butt hurt Pump Lump MAMM.
PIM and BIFLA did me in.
We (GBFTL) played the entire game and had the drums going the entire game as well when the Tigers were on Offense.
Frick ALL this PI BS.
It's insulting to the band and the majority of people in TS hate it.......

I had tickets for 24 years. Gave them up after 2019. I live in Shreveport. After Katrina I lost the will to handle all the bs of coming down. Job layoffs, sick parents. It became too hard and I I figured someone who would make the games would use my tickets.

For those of you getting tired of the tailgating hassle, you could ditch that aspect instead of throwing out the baby with the bathwater. I can see dealing with all that getting to be a real chore, which is why we don't do it.

Cheers.
I am kinda in the opposite situation. I am ready to retire soon and have more time to attend games but dont have many tailgate buddies around anymore.

1st game in '79 vs USC as a freshman. Been to some awesome games. Earthquake, '03 UGA. Road trips, bowl games, a natty.
On the dismal side... the monsoon vs Miami. A few times when teams hung 50 on us.
Bout 26 years with season tics. Internal debate whether to upgrade or give them up. Lots of points stacked up and anticipate peeps puking up their tics this year.
An alum but getting old. It's a hassle getting there. Prolly dependent on next HC to decide if I keep them another couple of years...

Our tickets are owned by an agricultutral LLC. It gets written off as an expense in a way I'm not at liberty to disclose.

My apologies. I see used a lot here. Was hoping for a quick explanation. I was thinking awake vs sleep

Older you get, more of an effort to make the games. When we play at Vandy or Tennessee, definitely thankful. Hope to make the opener against FSU next year tho.

Well here is the real problem that I have seen in this thread… if you have tickets that’s great. But if don’t lose them , give them up for someone who wants to pay that huge price…. Having tickets is one thing. Using them is another…. There are still plenty of people that park their RV in TD village and throw down the right way and I would do that if healthy and wealthy enough.

With every game on television, I have the best seat and accomendations available at home.

Had season tickets since 97. Me and 3 of my buddies got the last 4 season tickets that year. They were all single seats in the same section in the upper SEZ. We didn’t care. We saw LSU beat the #1 Gators that year and we rushed the field. I don’t remember me missing any of the most memorable games in Tiger Stadium from 97-19, but I haven’t been to one since Burrow & Company stomped the Aggies 50-7.
We have 8 tickets now. Luckily Ive had a man buy all of them for the last 4-5 years including the TF fees. If I want to go to a game I just find tickets and go. When he decides he doesn’t want to buy them anymore I will very likely let them go back. I just don’t see any point in keeping them. Too easy to get tickets on the open market nowadays, plus the older I get the more I enjoy the games from my couch.

We have had 2 season tickets since 1981. We made coming to the games involve less hassle by NOT tailgating since the 1990s. And, we only come to SEC games and give away our rent-a-win games tickets.
We used to go to at least 3 away games each year but that is no longer true since the tickets you get from SEC schools are typically horrendous seats. We did go to the UCLA game and will go to NO next season for Florida State game.
