This was Miles only weakness in recruiting. Outside of that he was stellar.
Well yeah.....QB is kinda important in the SEC...or so I've heard.

I definitely agree. His offense became one dimensional. Kind of f a waste of WR talent too

LSU had 7 players drafted in the 2018 season and had nine free agents. Perhaps not a great showing, but certainly nothing to back up claims about lack of talent.
Well the only one drafted from the offense was Morreau in the 4th round and we were talking about the offense. What UDFA's did we have from the offense. None I can think of. Plus I don't think we had 7 drafted overall, White round 1, Greedy round 2, and Moreau round 4. We didn't have much talent on offense from Miles last 3 classes that contributed to the 2018 season when you would have expected it to be loaded with players from those classes as that would account for the juniors (2016 class), redshirt juniors and seniors (2015 class) and red shirt seniors (2014 class)
Miles recruiting on the offense side of the ball had fallen off in those years (mainly 2015 and 16) and especially hurt the offense in the 2018 season. It is just a fact. Look at it. The offense mostly relied on transfers and underclassmen on offense in 2018.
2019 is looking like a different story as we did gain a lot of experience in 2018 and everyone of note is returning and we did get an influx of talent from the 2019 class where needed at RB. As well as the offense scheme being expanded.

Hard to believe, no, another dummy naysayer troll ah. Please go away. You do the program nothing but harm with your crap ..... or are you a Gump in a Tiger suit ?

Every coach rebuilds a roster. You're acting weird about it.
Don't think so. One coach inhereted a #5,#2,#5 class. Then when he loses, it's because we aren't as talented as troy.
Those are your words. But now we praise a guy that can not recruit the dline?

Absolutely
Our defense didn't need fixing, the offense definitely did

I might be drunk already... Jazz fest. But he hired Les' TE coach to run the offense.
So....

Have you followed this team the last two years? Or looked at the projected depth chart for 2019?
There are a lot of players coming back from a 10-3 team. Calm down jackass.

I agree with you. This team should finally live up to expectations from this fan base.
I hated the hire, but Ed is doing a decent job. These fricks that try to trash the last coach over false premises is bullshite while knighting for Ed.

Yet strangely will probably surpass any offense since 2007.

Have we? Yet?
All on the hope of a wr coach.

There were 3 drafted in 2005 too.
This is Zero's 3rd recruiting class. Do you honestly believe this team had more talent than the 2016 team? It has 3 Coach Zero recruit classes too.
Keep banging the drum. You can blame Les for a lot of things but recruiting isn't one of them.

“ you realize that right “
We fired miles. You realize that, right?
I just figured that 35 games after firing him we would be further along than 10-3, 5-3,, and having a worse O than Cam gave us in 2015.
I am sure this season will change all that. Well, at lease Joe is gone. I am a pretty happy camper knowing his days of screw ups are over!

Hey Buckeye. Rick admitted he thinks Orgerons doing better than Miles at any time of his career but one year.
I know, after all this time
We all know that you think Orgeron is doing better than Miles at any point in his career.
You also think that O is the better coach despite the following......
Miles won the SEC West his first season at LSU and finished the season 11-2. He went 10-2 his second season which marked the first time LSU Football ever had back-to-back 10 win seasons. In his 3rd season LSU won Division and Conference Titles and finished it off with a National Championship.
Miles was 34-6 after his first 3 seasons at LSU and had wins against 6 different National Championship winning Head Coaches. In that time he won 2 SEC West Titles, 1 SEC Conference Title (played for 2) and 1 National Championship.
Unless Orgeron can accomplish all of the above by the end of this upcoming season, it's completely ignorant to assert O has done better than Miles at any point in his career.

Les Miles had nothing to do with the LSU offense this season. He’s been gone for 35 football games. The fact that our offense this season was less productive than our in 2015 offense all rest on the shoulders of coach O and coach E. Coach O messing up his 1st OC hire had a lot more to do with the 2018 offense failure than any impediment caused by miles. imo
I would’ve thought that the miles excuse for LSU football shortcomings would have worn out by now, but apparently not in the mindset of some.
