I’d just play Cain this week only

I'm sure there are back up WRs or DBs who could be serviceable. Or even Kevin Faulk's kid.

My link was watching Goodwin limp off Saturday, emery clearly hurt after banged knee to turf, and Williams was hurt in the end when we see Cain come in and Williams didn’t return. Williams visibly in pain on sideline.

Need an immediate impact RB out of transfer portal. Hopefully we can get someone like Gibbs went to Bama. We don't need hopefuls for the future we need a guy who can come in and give us consistency there. I like Goodwin but he has been injury prone since HS.

Cain ain't it. He's a solid depth guy but he's not going to wow or carry the load for the team devouring the opposing team's defense.

I'm fine with feeding Cain 25 touches.

Dude is good, just never found a solid role I think.

Against UAB he certainly could. That’s the point.

My only thought on Cain on Saturday is that sometimes you have to get a RB "lathered up" in a game to see their best stuff. He hasn't had enough touches in a stretch to really do that yet.

Emery has a bruise per Kelly. That's not "hurt."

He's incredibly slow is why. Williams has basically taken his carries away from him as he probably would've been your short yardage/goal guy but Williams is that now too.

I wouldn’t play them if I didn’t have to. 2 big games after UAB.

Has it been confirmed that 3 of the four running backs are hurt or are you assuming that?

Every RB playing right now is "hurt" to some degree. That's the nature of the game. They are all playing through some degree of pain. But just because a guy limps off after a play, or is hurt momentarily on a play, doesn't mean he is significantly injured. I suspect Emery not playing a lot late had every bit as much to do with the fact he put the ball on the ground twice (though he was down both time) as it did whatever (relatively) minor injury he suffered. Williams left the game with 3:00 to go. Cain got the next two carries and LSU never ran another play (besides a kneel down). So Williams never had a chance to return. As for Goodwin, he looked fine in his 1-2 runs vs. Alabama. He's probably just slid down the depth chart a bit due to the prior injury.

Why did they put our “incredibly slow” running back on kickoff return?

You said Emery had a hurt knee and i could have sworn Kelly said Emery just had a bruised thigh?

Tavion Faulk is Kevin’s nephew & is the scout team qb. He didn’t even get to play against Kansas St when we had a wr play qb.

Also, OP is an idiot. Williams & Cain are both healthy. Emery had a bruise.

Let Bech get back there and run the ball.
