I agree. It was really eye opening. It was like watching a totally different offense.
What it reminded me of was 2016 when 100,000 booing LSU fans finally forced Les to bench Brandon Harris against Jax State. Etling came in and the offense started to hum immediately and we started scoring touchdowns. While this comparison has differences in scale, it was the same lesson. You won't know what the other guy can do unless you give him the ball in non-cleanup time. While I was fine with Daniels starting, Nuss should have gotten the ball in the FSU, UT, and A&M games when it was clear Daniels could not get it done.

So I know many are in the Nuss Bus now, but serious question…
Are we just throwing out the rest of his playing time this season for one shiny cherry we’re picking?

JD5 is a 4th year starter meaning he is what he is. He rarely hits a receiver in stride. GN13 is a redshirt freshman and has grown as a QB emensley since the game Against Southern. GN13 can make throws that JD5 can't even imagine. It's time for JD5 to move on.

Yeah I don’t get this either. It’s like they think we actually have some investment in JD.
I want the guy who gives us the best chance to win. I trust the guy we hired is going to play that guy. BK played 3 qb's last year at ND so he isn't afraid to play multiple QB's...that tells me he doesn't think Nuss is a good option and/or JD is really good...I think JD is really good and his mobility allowed the oline to get better. No way we win 6 games without JD

As great as it was he has to read defenses better. 2 turnovers won’t cut it.
You know like tied 17-17 and you get strip sacked for a TD? That’s a bad time for a turnover

Pure speculation on your part

It was a fun watch, but you are still analyzing the QB position from an extremely casual perspective if you think what Nuss did in that half was better than what Jayden did all season.
There were no expectations or consequences that half. Also, Georgia wasn’t exactly locked in. Nuss broke about 25 quarterbacking rules in one half. You don’t get away with that from quarter to quarter, let alone an entire season.
He has nfl talent and a peewee football brain. If you let the guy play an entire season, he’d likely throw 40 tds, but also turn the ball over 40 times. That’s not winning football.

The situation has to be considered as well. LSU had nothing to lose. Coaching staff probably said do what you can. We saw the results.

Daniel's is our best DT QB, but his running abilities are far superior to his passing accuracy

Ive watched Georgia almost every weekend this season (live in ATL and my friends are georgia grads)
LSU probably wouldve gone 4-8 if Bennett was the starter

Rodgers, Mahomes, Allen, Herbert, maybe TJ Finley, Nuss. Who else? He literally flicked his wrist barely
Me

Add a few hundred college a pro QB's can flick their wrist 30-40 yards. If I can I know they all can. Oh, there are many high school QB's can also do that

That’s not true. He’s a solid, smart QB. None of you guys understand intangibles lol
It’s why half this board hated Burrow for half of 2018

He would be 4th string qb on LSU
How the hell you know that?

He looked much better this game.

tRant says QBs can't develop unless they see it on TV.

I knew there was no way we were gonna win, but, you're right, I was riveted to the TV.
It was fun.
