Jordy brings it up at 1:28.
At 1:50, SW mentions "kids are working hard, coaches are working hard to prepare the kids... yea there's some guys missing because of some knicks & bruises, but overall I'm very pleased with what I see"

You made me go listen again due to my poor comprehension and I wasted my time because it was never mentioned again.

I really hope this is all being overblown hot air, I would rather be wrong, and Tigers are all ready on game day.

As long as they’re just doing conditioning drills, I don’t really care who misses practices. When they start doing actual game prep is when you’d like to see full participation.

have you ever played football before? You do know offense and defense go 11 on 11 at football practice, right?

Expect Coach O to update the injury situation this evening, maybe offer a little more clarity.

From what I heard, Pettigrew is the only one that could miss some games.

Which is ok with our depth at TE.

I've seen this situation before.
The athletic department will say these are "injuries" and large numbers of young men will be out of action for a week to ten days.
Eventually, word will leak out about STDs, arranged by a conference rival.
Happens in all sports (and in the military)from time to time.
Sorority rush in Tuscaloosa will be a bit slower this year.

There’s in shape and there is in game shape. They need that first game to get ready for Texas.

Things are starting to get hysterical now, starting to remind me of an old cartoon.

Except Troy was a very good team for their "classification". Georgia Southern is not.

Yea - been this way for over a decade, maybe 2 - doesnt freaking explain anything.

quote:

2. These dudes were “practicing “ all summer in the schemes. The team leaders were teaching the plays / techniques, etc. Coaches were not present. But, the schemes we’re being practiced.

So every team has 12 starters out for the same reason.. got it..

quote:

3. These dudes have sensors all over. They are tracked for hydration, hits (especially head), acceleration, etc. if anything is detected- they are given a day or two to recover - all the while learning in the video room while being given care.

So LSU is the only school with vital monitors... got it.

quote:

4. In the wake of such tragedies as Maryland death, they take these things seriously.

So - every other school has this many people out... got it.
