SEC has an open border policy and it’s fricking everything up.

Under the currently adopted system, our only permanent SEC opponent in Texas A&M. That's A&M plus 7 random SEC teams for 2024 and 2025. We wont play Auburn or State in 2025 either, but would play them in 2026 and 2027. In this system, we play every SEC team (not A&M) twice every 4 years.

Sankey wants a 9-game SEC schedule of some sort but a majority of SEC schools have voted against having 9 SEC games. Who knows what will happen after 2025.

They should at least kept Auburn for us and leave A&M off. The SEC is a bunch of bitches for trying to force feed A&M as our rival.

What rock have you been living under?

Asking so I can move into the neighborhood. I’m done with the current state of the world.

It’s really gonna get crazy when Clemson, FSU, and North Carolina join the party in 2027.

As I understand it, we actually have NO permanent opponents as of now. Nor does anyone else. That won't be decided until the future, once they decide on the eight- or nine-game SEC schedule. We play the same SEC teams in 2025 that we play in 2024, but the home & away locations are flipped.

I certainly could be wrong about the permanent opponent thing, but I was of the understanding that the permanent opponents (the number of permanent foes and the particular schools) has yet to be decided.

2025 SEC opponents were announced a month ago and we play @ Clemson for the opener.

This is happening and will be leaked out by years end. Also you forgot the 4th new member Virginia. The wheels are already in motion and you will cover the entire southeast/west part of the USA!!!!!

There’s a reason the 2025 schedule is just everyone’s 24 SEC schedule flipped for home/away. The SEC doesn’t want to make permanent rotations just yet knowing more teams are likely to join
