2003 - Win Natty
2007 - Win Natty
2011 - Went to Natty
2015 - went 9-3 which is basically a miracle if Les Miles is your coach
2019 - Win Natty (best team of all time)
2023 - ????

The cycle is pretty jacked up due to the full roster reset we just did.

Couldn't ask for a better schedule, really. Lines up like a dream. We'll see.

Whenever the championship is in New Orleans is when I’d put my $ on

There are a couple of data points above this one which you might want to revisit

Can't win with JD as QB. Simple as that.

Yeah, but the national championship game has to be the sugar bowl as well

For the committee to consider New Orleans a “neutral” location is a bit comical. But as long as it keeps the nattys rolling in, I can’t complain.

Now if they move the game to Michigan or Ohio, I will start protesting.

That game doesn't even matter. Didn't matter this year and won't matter next year

Which season would you prefer... LSU's or Bama's? You don't have to like it, you just have to live it. Same story next year, but with a defense that will probably give up more points. JD had too many unproductive drives towards the end of the year.

* The West was terrible this year, with the exception of Bama. Beating them certainly does not make LSU better. I hope that A&M isn't truly better than the tigers.

2015 looked like we would maybe make the playoff, then Bama took the life out of that team.

JD will have to take a big step next year if that trend is to continue.

The Sugar Bowl is one of the 2 national semifinals. NCG is in Houston.
