Daniels wins Football MVP at Annual Awards Show per LSU Twitter. Congrats to Mr. Daniels, looking forward to him leading this team next year!

It's always been HIS team. Happy for the young man.

There are 4 guys who immediately come to mind as more valuable:
Will Campbell and Emory Jones: try to imagine the offense without them without reverting to the fetal position and sucking your thumb
Jarrick Bernard-Converse: the defense genuinely couldn’t function without his coverage
Harold Perkins: no explanation needed
We would have been fine with the 2nd or 3rd QB; not the case at the above positions.

Smh sad fans I tell you.

Congratulations to JD but I don’t think he’ll be back next year, I think he’ll go pro.

I absolutely believe we would have had a really good year with Nuss or Brennan.
You don’t really believe we would have been even decent without Campbell/Jones or JBC right? Both sides of the ball would have been in perpetual dysfunction.

Congrats to the entire team for leading us to a season that exceeded expectations. Including the qb that helped get us there. All awards they receive are well earned

No I don’t. They stepped up big.
But Brennan would have been sacked 1000 times and gotten injured, again. Jayden Daniels was a great portal acquisition. Outstanding move by BK that elevated this team.

That’s Kelly’s boy. He’ll be starting next year.

Brennan would have had plenty of time by week 3. But there’s a good chance Nuss would have beaten him out by then if not for the opener.
We saw what happened when the Tackles went down: Tennessee.
Then JBC? A&M
When JD went out we didn’t miss a beat.

A&M didn’t beat us with their passing game, lmao.
Nuss played one good half of football, and it really wasn’t even that good.

That’s a nice award to take with him to the NFL!

Brennan was a great kid , great arm , bright .
Not enough foot speed to even run and pick up 3 yds to the sideline . Slight build . He would get seriously hurt in SEC play . He made the right decision . Nothing against the young man .
