He will get 2 years to prove his worth since he hired Ensminger.

So you will fire an AD that has football teams playing on Jan1, baseball teams in the college World Series, up and coming basketball team, women’s softball has been pretty good. Track and field is always really good. Gymnastics is phenomenal. I’m sure there are other sports that we excel at. I know football is the cash cow but let’s face it people the football program makes money. Some of you are dellusional.

Depends on the season. 8-5/9-4 with offensive woes again and hes probably done or extremely hot seat to start next year.

I won't be happy at 9-3, but I'd gladly accept if it included a Bama win at home. Or Georgia. Or both.
And for God sakes....win the damn bowl game to finish 10-3.
Worse than that? Fans will riot.

If some of the leaks are true and the big donators are already out look for it to be a difficult sell to keep him after an underwhelming season. I could see him staying but not having nearly as much say in the hiring

Correct.

And again. So again it begs the question, A. Why not have a proper OC search?

So who's the delusional one? We fired Miles for less and we look completely lost. Look at the bowl game. Look at the OC "search."
You and Space Cowboy should go bowling or something.

If he goes 7-5 for the regular season, the seat will either be unbearably hot, or they’ll let him go - not matter the schedule.
Put up or shut up time.

Miles got himself fired for not being able to come out of the Stone Age offensively.
Posted on 1/13/18 at 2:07 am to theSaltwaterGuide
And thats what most likely will end up costing O his job as well. Meddling with the Offense

I've said it twice now, yes. You are right.
Is the offense out of that age yet?
He hires Canada then fires him only to promote a guy from within that had been on staff before the Canada hire even happened.
You don't find that a bit odd?

you guys just don’t get it. I try! I’ll say it again. O meddled in Canada’s offense because he didn’t trust Canada. He trust E to call the game. That’s why he hired him. Trust!
Posted on 1/13/18 at 2:10 am to theSaltwaterGuide
Thats why he still plans on having a hand in the running game
. Just wait for the wheels to fall off in the first couple of games and see if he doesnt start to meddle again

If he didn't trust Canada why did he hire Canada in the first place?
Good grief.

Trust is given and then either taken care of or not. Canada obviously didn’t take care of it.
Posted on 1/13/18 at 2:18 am to la_birdman
Because he trusted he was gonna help usher in a new offense to LSU and then the season happened and trust no more. It’s really not that hard to figure out. Remove your emotion and use your head.

And burn $3M in the process?
Why not just "promote" Ensminger before he even hired Canada? He was already on staff.

Hes going to reply with "O promised hiring the best coordinators to win the job and everybody was expecting a big name so he couldnt promote ensminger"
