Mickey is 6'8 and was pretty damn good playing center. Reath may not work out but he's athletic and blocks shots in juco and we are in desperate need of shot blockers.

PF - Victor/Bridgewater
SF - Jenkins/Epps/Sims

I really don't understand how people can say Jones is a good recruiter. Look at what this team is left with. Horrible.

Because he has been a good recruiter up until the 2016 class which just doesnt have the "Star" power we are used to (and we're unloading some good players from this year). Mays will be really good though. The rest of the guys, really up in the air.

Sampson and Blakeney are two of your three best returning players (Sampson will get much better with more playing time). LSU's best line up would be 3 guards: PG/Blakeney/Sampson with Victor in the frontcourt. The trouble comes with the other spot in the frontcourt. You don't need that guy to be a big scorer, but they have to rebound and defend. Neither Malone, Robinson nor Epps have shown they can do either very well. Bridgewater is too short, and Simms is a tweener who everyone hopes could maybe, at some point, develop into Tasmin Mitchell-light.
If Reath is a solid rebounder and defender, LSU should be able to at least compete. The problem is they have no frontcourt depth and a coach who frankly isn't good enough to implement a plan to play to the strength of his personnel. Even if LSU can score with that line-up, the glaring deficiency remains on defense. Jones simply holds no one accountable for poor defense. Until that changes, LSU is going to be a wildly inconsistent team.

Sims is not even close to being College Ready and Mays will start over patterson from Day One!

Tells me you know nothing about Reath, Odo was highly offensively challenged. Reath has a developed full offensive game, he even takes 3's and can hit jump shots fairly effectively.

Jenkins will for sure start. And he will most likely start at PG. He is a 6'3 combo guard who is tough mentally and physically.
Reath is very skinny, and he may be 6'9 but he has like a 7'4 wingspan and he can hit 3's.
Most around here project us to be like 2-16 in sec play, but we will most likely finish around 8-10 or 9-9. We won't be good, but I think next year's team will play hard and fight. Unlike this year.
