And the repeat broadcast still hasn't edited out the "F**k You, Saban" chant in OT...

I cannot watch them, not because we lost, but because we just did not try to win. Miles just gave up trying to come up with an innovative way to beat that team.

I had forgotten how wide open it was. He easily could have run for the first down. What was he thinking?

Just imagine if we had Atkins then. Those ten extra yards that Bama got on their last drive in regulation made a difference. They had just enough time to get down there for the FG.

And Melvin Jones drops the swing pass right in his hands on first down in OT. Had he caught it, he would have easily gotten 6-7 yards at least.

12 in Tiger Stadium was deflating.

Aside from the BCSNCG, this is the one that is the most disappointing. The second half of that game was the only time in the last 10 years of this series that Bama looked completely helpless. Mettenberger played the half of his LSU career. He was carving up the Bama D all while getting crushed on many of his throws. Still, there was nothing Bama could do to stop it. Then, in what essentially defined why he was eventually fired, Les went ultra risk averse.

3rd and 10 at the Alabama 32 with Alabama out of time outs. A first down literally ends the game and Les takes the ball out of Mettenberger's hands. Run, missed FG, Yeldon drive, ball game.

2014, Alabama gives the win to LSU with Yeldon's fumble until the officials decide one minute to go in the 4th quarter of a tie game is the time to enforce "order" by calling an unsportsmanlike penalty in a game where pushing and shoving had been the norm for 59 minutes

Was at that game. What a swing of emotions. Recovering that fumble...don't think I've seen the crowd go that nuts ever.
Leaving the stadium was a different story...

Oh yeah that was the game where the refs threw that bullshite personal foul on our player when he was prevoked by bama player and then responded, only to have the bama player flop and move us out of a good chance at scoring a td. That game right? It's sad that we can remember the games we've had with those frickers by the bad calls at crucial points in the game that changed the momentum and possible/probable outcome of the game. Those bastards.

Beckwith could have picked up Yeldon’s fumble and walked into the endzone. You have to at least secure the turnover but it’s depressing he didn’t just pick it up and walk in. There was no Alabama guy around him.

Craziest part is that the exact reverse decision making cost us the Clemson bowl game. Throwing with Mettenberger several times when we could have run it with Jeremy Hill and we beat Clemson in 2012.
