UF's Demps and Rainey both false started in the 100m prelims as well as LSU's Williams

It's gonna be a lot harder for Arkansas than usual this year. They only picked up 12 pts in the 10k as opposed to their usual 20+. I don't know who is going to beat them though. Florida's 1500/5k stud isn't racing and Demps FS in the 100 hurts them. Still they'll get 20+ in the TJ tomorrow and big points in the relays, 400, 200, and 800. It will probably come down to Auburn/Alabama Kenyans trying to displace Arkansas guys in the 5k, though Arkansas has fewer studs than usual in that event.

Women's 400

LSU doesn't qualify anyone

WTF? I am not up to speed on the team at all, but not to have a woman qualify in the 400 is really surprising to me.

Women are looking very good. Horatio Williams and Gabriel Mvumvere not qualifying in the 100 hurts the men but Demps hurts Florida even more so thats a wash. Going to be tough to catch Georgia and Arkansas but they could do it.

We are favored to get first in both relays, 110 hurdles, and possibly 200m. Have a chance to score 10+ in Triple Jump, Pole Vault and 400m with multiple entrants in all.

For the Lady Tigers, they just need to take care of business in the sprints and relays.

Yeah, I mean I'm still drunk and I mean the men have a chain but the girls should win it comfortably despite missing their second best springer and they're still first. If they do as ben moderately expected they'll win and the men are a healthy rynell parsons away

Hell, I'd say a lot of the kids at the LHSAA State track meet last weekend are better than half of this competition. It's amazing some of these teams are running/throwing kids with these numbers.

Like who for example? Kavahra Holmes is the only one who could compete.

You are nuts if you think HS kids could compete in this meet.

Gabriel M pulling up in the 100 with a hamstring injury killed the mens title hopes. Hopefully he will be back for Regionals but we won't know til then

Not true. His failure to qualify was offset by Demps and Nitt not qualifying for Florida and Arkansas.

You're wrong. There were several HS kids in Louisiana this year that could not only compete, but would have scored points at the SEC championships this year. A girl from Catholic-NI pole vaulted 14' 02". That would put her in the top 5 in the nation if she were in college.

That's not several. That's two. And those two are both highly recruited by big colleges. Where do you think these college athletes come from? Not that hard to grasp that the top 2 high school kids in any event in the whole state should be collegiate level.

Gabriel's injury is not offset. That means he is out of the 200 final and off of the 4x1 final. Big blow for the mens team

We are way out of it on the men's side but still in good shape for other post season meets if he gets back healthy.

The women should win and be in great shape for the post season as well

And yes a couple of high school kids from Louisiana every year can compete in the SEC but they are the Elite. not the average HS runner. They could compete anywhere just about

Women pick up 21 in the 100m.

Parson must be injured again for the guys.

What a shame. He still has plenty of time, but I've never been so excited to bring in a guy of his caliber, only to be let down. He has so much potential.

Hopefully Pickney can come back 100 percent before the championships. She is a must if they're going to win the NCAA's
