Half of the division made up the top 3 teams in the entire county in week 12. There is no objective way to say the division was weak.

Yes 3 teams were great, guess what we were one of em and we don’t play ourselves so what you’re doing is taking 2 games and ignoring 6. Only a moron would do that.

Both statements can be true Bubba. Our fans pretend that was the toughest schedule ever besides 2019 when I think it ranks somewhere in the 20s on LSUs alltime SOS list.

The division wasn’t weak at all. The SECw had #1-#3 teams in the nation and also Miss St and Auburn finished with winning records and bowl wins on top of that. If I remember right the year before that 5 SECw teams finished in like the top 10 or 15 too. Then A&M came in the next year.
Probably the strongest the western division has ever been actually

That’s a tough arse schedule to win 13 games on
Any time you run thru the conference regular season undefeated, you will just about always get a worthy SECCG game opponent too.
Not to mention Oregon & WVU were 2 of the toughest OOC opponents in one season in recent memory
