The game counted...for LSU.

LSU needed to win on the road to earn a rematch. They needed it to win the West and to then win the SEC to earn a rematch with the West runners up.

It did not matter for Alabama however.

The team's goal this was to only make it to a NYD bowl. You need to better align your goals with the team's, bro.

I don't get why y'all are laughing at the fact that the SEC championship was won objectively, on the field, with no voters or computers involved, while the BCS, especially that year, was a joke.

Its funny because pathetic LSU fans think a conference championship means more than a national championship.

You could argue that 2011 LSU was the greatest regular season in college football history.

Maybe to you these seasons do not matter but be assured they matter to those who played.

It's the new I want it all now conscience. The journey means nothing, only bragging rights for something they had very little to do with.
A "fan" who belittles the 2011 season is very suspect, imo.

The people that think like you are what is wrong with LSU sports and sports in general. So based on this only 3 seasons in LSU's 120 years of football have mattered? So your basically saying Tommy Casanova, Charlie Alexander, Dalton Hilliard, Jerry Stovall and other greats that never won a national title didn't matter? Your saying the great teams of 1969,1982,1987,2001, 2006 along with the 2011 teams didn't matter? I am sure the players from these teams thank you and appreciate the support you give them for all of the work put in. Myself I am thankful to every guy who has put on the purple and gold and ran out of that tunnel. I don't care if they went 13-0 or 2-9 like the 1992 team. On their behalf I would to take the time to say frick YOU!!!!!!!

You seem upset. You really shouldn't use that kind of language either. Ponchatoula or not, its kinda trashy.
