Blew out Central Florida and Western Carolina, the rest were pretty close games. They also beat Southern miss 34-7.

We also don't have the luxury of playing in the Big-10 and having to only beat one or two quality opponents per year.

That Florida team had a hell of a defense with a ton of guys who went pro after that season. This LSU defense, not so much. Apples and oranges

our bottom rankings in total offense and total defense in the SEC.

so those mean what about winning and losing? What was UT ranked in defensive stats last year? how'd that work for them?

Is our team playing as good as bama considering the fact we have similar personnel? Yes or No

we played vanilla ball in auburn combined with a bad game in Florida. we lacked discipline in some areas in 2006. It was a shame b/c it was LSU's best team in the history of the program.

I was just thinking about them this morning. That was anything but a dominant team except for the last one against Ohio St. Of course our '07 team certainly wasn't dominant. We could just keep getting lucky and winning ugly and that'd be fine, as long as we keep winning of course. As they say 13 ugly wins equals an NC.

I looked at this team last week. Lots of close wins, but when people started paying attention, they beat a name Florida State, McFadden, and will be remember for blowing Ohio State off of the field. The season wasn't dominant.

However, they waxed the non-SEC foes when they should've.

Yeah, our receivers were absolutely scared of Reggie Nelson that game. He took LaFell out and forced several turnovers. When we botched that opening kickoff in the second half for a safety, I knew the game was over. True freshman Tebow absolutely owned us that game. He threw and ran all over our defense.

Holy shite that is unimpressive. For some reason I thought they were alot more dominant that year. Maybe it's because they beat probably the most talented team in LSU history by 13 points, but we sort of shot ourselves in the foot that game.
