It still amazes me that they claim 3 natty’s and have never finished #1 in a major poll.

I find it odd since they lost to us.

Cut them some slack. It's a big deal for them, that's the closest they've gotten to Atlanta!

Our D Line ran through their O line like shite through a goose on that play. The "fall" was merciful.

The SEC office did send them a trophy. They give any team that finishes in first a trophy no matter if they lost to another team head to head. The head determines who goes to the championship game or seeding in tournaments.

LSU @ Mississippi was my first college football game. It was intense. LSU played tight. So thankful Jonathan Nichols - who made something like 23 of 26 FGs that season and won the Groza - missed two makable FGs including a 36 yarder late in the 4th. Him, and Alexis Serna, are still names I remember for their misses and not their Groza Awards.

I find it pretty funny since they didn't win anything that year. If you on secsports.com then in 2003 it shows LSU as the sole SEC champion.

Look at that defense. I know Eli tripped or whatever, but the D looks so aggressive.

That was such a gutsy win by LSU. Trailer 7-0 after pick six early on.
