Passing Yards Career

Hodson 9115
Burrow 8102

This one is 100% safe.

Joe would have to throw the length of the field 10.14 times.

Passing Yards in a game.

Davey 528
Burrow’s best game 493

Seems unlikely as well. Burrow could have shattered this one last game and we called off the dogs.

The fact that he passed Hodson in Career Passing TDS is fricking INSANE considering how many he had coming into this season.

Only reason he didn’t get the single game record was the score. Wish we could have gotten one more big pass just to cement it.

We took it easy on the Sooners and everybody knows it. Brennan looked great too as did Emery on that TD.

As far as I'm concerned, Joe broke this record. A 2 year starter vs. a 4 year starter... It's a shame that this is the way it is.

‘The only record I’m worried about is January 13’ ~ Joe Burrow

It’s a career record so that’s just how it works.

He has single season record by almost 2000 yards if that makes you feel better.

And that Hodson set the record in 44 games and Burrow passed it in 27

528 could still go down. There is no reason to pull Burrow in his grand finale.

Not LSU but he needs 4 TDs to pass Colt Brennan for the CFB season record.

There is always a chance but I don’t see it, of course he will be passing a lot.

I’d settle for starting at our 10 and throwing a TD more than 10 times then.

Anyone have any idea how many quarters Joe sat this year because the game was out of reach?

I would imagine IF he played full games the career mark may be in more danger or if Joe wasn't a two year player.

Hodson was a 4 year starter and a 58% completion guy. Joe with even 3 years would have killed that record.

The pass before the missed FG would have done it. Jefferson should have caught that

30 - 35 years ago Hodson's numbers were considered good. Hodson had Harvey and Sammy

Of course there is - the kid looks to sign a $40+ million contract next summer.

If any college football player in history has earned it, he has.

625 away from NCAA single season passing yards. Just amazing when you think about it. I fully expect him to throw for 350+, which would put him solidly in top 5.

Sure he's had 2 more games, but he's also been on the bench at the end of alot of games.

Of note, Josh Reed's LSU receiving yards in a season is 181 away from being broken.
