The offense was dreadful last night. Is it your position that that was just an anomaly, nothing to see?

maybe they figured it was better to beat Tech ugly than to show more stuff.

I want to hang my hat on this, so I will, for now. Let’s hope the hook holds.

It held for Les Miles, and the secret playbook, for the best part of a decade.

It is truly astonishing how childish some of our fans are. Makes me concerned for the state of this world.

Fought a war the weak before and have the conference opener next week. They’re human not robots. Definitely a letdown on that side but tons of talent.

OL was always the question mark going into the year and the best of the 5 went down early.

That putrid offense will help us go at bare minimum 8-2 the rest of the way and into the playoffs.

This is the reason why I cannot look at a game thread. The idiocy is too much for me.

While I understand that some reactions are way over the top. I don't think it is way out of left field to say our offense looked awful Saturday. I was at the game and saw an offensive line that couldn't open up a hole up the middle all game. I get having a let-down in the first half because of the Clemson game. In fact, I thought that was exactly what would happen. However, the line never seemed to get in gear. Tech dominated them at the line of scrimmage for most of the game. We ran the ball 1 time up the middle for any amount of yardage and almost all of that was because Berry made an unbelievably athletic play to get outside. Our receivers also pitched in by dropping multiple passes that could have significantly altered the final score. The cherry on the top was Nuss. While he made some really nice passes, he also made some unbelievably dumb decisions. There was the throwing in the back of the end zone to a guy that was completely covered when he had about 15-20 yards directly in front of him with not a single defender in site. There was the INT thrown into double coverage and also thrown short. Ending with his dancing around outside of the pocket and taking a sack instead of throwing the ball in the stands. Maybe all of this gets fixed. I certainly hope it does, but to act like all of the atrocities we saw Saturday are no big deal and simply a team coming off of a big win the week before is a little delusional to me. Through 2 games we have, what appears to be, a playoff level, possibly national championship level defense. At the same, time, we have a bottom half offense. Those 2 don't equal out to a championship and I don't think it's wrong to point that out.

late 4th qtr first and goal from the 3 yard line forced to kick a FG that's a big fail in my book

There is a silver lining if it is used. I felt BK was forcing an issue with these RBs and OL on that series. It should be a learning experience for the RBs and it should be a shot over the bow for the OL guys. After reviewing tape it should be obvious to a blind man who is getting there arse handed to them.

Curne and Bordelon waiting on that sideline to take somebody’s spot.
