A different outcome with Finley?

You are trying really hard.

Another but more broad scenario. Could Finley have gotten LSU to the one yard line? How does the young man work under pressure?

In other words, you are not being realistic.

A team that ran the ball like they did last night.

I know everyone is jumping on the TJ bandwagon and he was spectacular. But let’s not act like if the team played that good with Myles in the outcome wouldn’t have been the same.

Last night reminded me of the saints last year with teddy in at QB. the whole team stepped it up so they teddy didn’t have to play like drew.

I actually thought that Finley could work on his QB sneaks. I think most of his push came by from David-Price

It would have been a different outcome with last night's offensive mindset. I will give Orgeron credit for one thing, he learns from his mistakes and makes corrections. This is what Les Miles wouldn't do. Last night when we had goal line and short yardage situations, the QB lined up under center and we played power football. Had we done that last week at the end, we would have won. A well executed QB sneak can be the best play in that situation. Brees and Burrow are masters at that. Last night we tried it twice in a row at the goal line and had two fumbles. Fortunately two defensive offsides penalties gave us two more chances. T.J. is more physical and gives us better run options. Brennan is no threat whatsoever to run. I would love to have last week's 1st and goal back. That was a killer.

I'd argue that Brennan is a better runner than TJ.

Ed Ingram was a bigger difference in my opinion.

The play calling scuttled that possession.

We would QB sneak first play for a TD. Likely victory..

With our defense that day, that would have meant a loss. Too much time left.

Might want some packages with Johnson at QB, he looked
very powerful running the ball. Based on word coming out of the program, he was ahead of Finley until very recently.

Maybe in 2 years. I’m rewatching the game. South Carolina is horrible.

Direct snap to emery/TDP over the top. Sneak with TJ. Sneak with Max. Speed sweep with Palmer.

Pretty much anything except the 4 calls made

Well he anchored a 56pt outing against a better defense might have never gotten to
That point

Have you seen Myles Brennan run? He’s the slowest QB I’ve seen since Peyton Manning

I think it is a plus that Cameron Wire is in and Dare Rosenthal is out.

He averaged 6.1 YPC in high school.
TJ averaged 1.2 YPC in high school.

Myles averaged 4.6 YPC last season

Hell, the play he was injured on was a seven yard scramble.

They run the same 40.

If one is a better runner than the other, its marginal.
