Orgeron also inherited a very talented group of players just like Miles did.

He was also recruiting coordinator for at least 1 year before taking over. So he already had guys he was familiar with incoming. Less players jumped ship knowing O was taking over from Miles. When O was fired, a number of players that had a connection with him left.

Kelly inherited some very talented players and a good recruiting class O was able to keep together.

Of those Les had a stacked deck and underachieved as far as talent was concerned .Jerry left Nick with some talent ,at least he had a full roster. O
also had a full roster and did well and got some great transfers to win the
Natty.BK inherited a cluster F. Maybe 50 players and NO depth yet he still has won 26 games. He`s had the toughest job but of course most fans
expect miracles they dont look at the situation he took over and expect
him to wave a magic juan and presto we are 3 deep at every position like ALA.LSU doesnt have enough talent to have a game like Saturday and
stay close against a team that I say will make the playoffs.I understand
that some don`t` look at matchups and man on man matchups but they
matter and right now it`s a missmatch when we play fr and sophs against
top 10 programs and are inconsistant because of it.

I find it incredible Dietzel was only 11-17 his first three years. He was the guy who won our first championship in 1958

Decent record, considering he had to book 25 3 star portal players his 1st year. I don't think any other coach had to do that. Saban left Miles a great roster and Miles left Orgeron in good shape. Both were possibly better recruiters tha BK is.

absolutely

Saban would have started the LSU dynasty sometime between 2005-2007 if he stayed. he had those teams loaded.

I will say this. Saban was 26-12 first three years but LSU got better and better and more competitive each year.
Coach O his teams got better and better until 2020 then fell off the face of the cliff.
Miles was always 9-4 to 11-1 type coach and he just got average at the end of his tenure.
Brian Kelly has been consistent in winning us games so far 8-10 wins per year. Are we better in our third year or worse?

I think Brian Kelly and Saban each inherited their own different circumstances.

Saban inherited some talent but had to build most of his talent from High School and develop what was currently on the roster.
No immediate playing time for transfers back then though made it tougher than this era.

Brian Kelly had some issues with the number of players and overall depth on the team.
Immediate playing time for transfers help tremendously as we saw in 2022.
So Brian Kelly may have had a numbers and depth issue the transfer rule helped that issue out tremendously.

So final verdict is I would say about even and what they inherited vs what was allowed.
