If Nike put the shoulder stripes & made the numbers purple, I'd like them. Reading white on gold was impossible on TV except for very close up shots.

That's coach Albert Simmonds wearing a Yale sweater. At that time, coaches were allowed to play. He scored LSU's only touchdown in the 1894 loss to Ole Miss.

My NCAA14 Tigers wear the 2007 White Helmets and Pants with the regular LSU White jersey for an all white out look.
