Away from the ignorant people on the board regarding Dale Brown...
if Bill Wade can get to where Dale had us during the peak years (15- either NCAA 13 NIT 2...we will be fine as we could then go higher.
with Dale, it was "where will we be seated ?" every year,
not "are we in ?"
Kudos to Wade so far.

Let's not forget "Where will we be seated" instead of "Where will we be seeded".

He's done an unbelievably great job. Way better than any of us really could have expected this fast and you won't find a bigger Wade fan than me. That doesn't mean he's above criticism if his team lays an egg in a conference game with a conference championship in play. This is directed specifically at you. It's just a general statement. If Orgeron or Mainieri had a team come out to play that disinterested in a conference game, this place would implode and rightfully so.
Wade got outcoached last night and the team go outplayed by a team that hasn't won a conference game in over a year. It's ok to be pissed about it. All of our goals are still attainable but that lackluster effort just made it a little more difficult.

LOL - without a doubt.
sometimes the typing is faster than the mind and the impulsive phonetics take over

Not to disagree with any of the above, but I get the feeling that the "glamour" part (offense) is more important to him.
Almost as if he thinks "it does not matter how much the other team scores, as long as we score 1 more point"...
which will win games...
BUT what if we have to be able to limit the opponent as in last night's game.
Hard to ask a team to score more than 90 in order to win.

Yeah the offense was ok, but some of the boneheaded plays were mindblowing. Skylar dribbled into a double team, then got the ball stolen from behind, Emmitt fouled a guy with two hands for no reason under the goal like it was intentional and there passes to absolutely no one. The defense was nonexistent. Even when we took the lead, there was really no energy to keep it. We've seen weird shite happen in that gym before, but it looked to me like our guys pulled a Varsity Blues and got shitfaced Tuesday night at the strip club then played like they were just gonna waltz in there and get an easy win.

Poor from 3 all year ? They just made 9 in Rupp last week. And they made 10 against Auburn. If thats poor what constitutes good ?

Vanderbilt (9-13, 1-8 SEC) went into the game shooting a woeful 35.3% in league play, hitting 23.0% from beyond the 3-point arc, but didn’t look anything like that in handling LSU (17-5, 8-1 SEC).
The Commodores, who shot 54.5% in the first half and 60.7% in the second half, wound up hitting 57.4% for the game — going 40.0% from 3-point range.

I think that was a hack-a-_____ and dude missed the front end. The bad thing was it was his 4th foul

The worst part is Wade standing on the sideline like it’s a preseason scrimmage
Coaches are on the baseline in Memorial Gym, FYI.

The benches are on the baseline. Stack and Wade were both on the sideline last night like any other court. I thought they were only on the baseline too before last night. Maybe it changed recently.

This same moron chanted all season that the only possible way the Football team had any chance at winning anything was if Dave Aranda was fired immediately starting early in the season. He knows very little about sports.

Please point to the last time O had a horrendous loss. I’ll wait.
...Troy? Although I’m pretty sure you were defending that one as just mid-season jitters and growing pains after Les “left the cupboard bare” or something
Bad games happen. Even horrendous ones. One game in isolation isn’t reason enough to call one of the better coaches on campus out

What about people who think that alot is a word?

There’s only so much a coach can do to pry players’ heads out of their asses.

PLEASE look at this link and scroll down to where it says VCU Havoc Defense and you will see a wealth of X and O stuff that Wade presented at a coaching clinic.

It was intentional. The Nigerian dude went and bricked the front end of the 1 and 1.
