Absolutely. I’m the biggest Aranda fanboy around, and I hope he’ll be our HC one day...but we’ve had the 5th and 4th best defensive efficiency in the SEC the past 2 years, and you know that doesn’t sit well with Aranda. I look for him to get us back in the top 2 or 3 in the SEC this year.

Texas and Tom Herman plan on running all over the Tigers through a variety of formations, they want to see if LSU’s defense has learned how to stop the run. They saw the Fla film. QB’s going to test the ends and the middle.

He got paid because the HC and Alleva were scared shitless that they would lose him to A&M. That was a "please stay so we can keep our jobs" premium they paid.
They threw the entire defensive coordinator payscale out of wack because they were scared.

This is a concern.... however Herman doesn’t have as much talent on offense and Aranda has way more talent on defense that both did in 2014.

On an absolute scale, I don't think he's worth more than half of the HCs in CFB. And I don't think he's the best coordinator.
Maybe that's the disconnect. Because he's earning so much, you guys expect him to be the best or second best DC when he's never been that. That's your own fault.
