It's amusing that pro-McMahon/Anit-Wade people think that Wade is struggling to fill a roster. There is obviously a reason why nothing has been announced and it certainly isn't because he can't get anyone.

Anyone who was satisfied with McMahon as the coach must really hate basketball. LSU had never been deader. The attendance, the atmosphere, the on the court product, the enthusiasm all deader than disco. The only thing deader would have been the death penalty. No pulse whatsoever. He was the dullest and most low energy coach of a D1 SEC school in any sport ever.

MM was a death penalty by fat Scott. He doesn’t get shite on enough for how bad of a fit this hire was. He honestly had to have looked at his on paper record and Murry and just hired him. There is no way MM actually interviews well, and once you dig in you could see this was going to be a failure. He is the polar opposite of Will Wade.

It's tough to beat Trent Johnson and Johnny Jones in this area, but MM did it somehow. I watched every single basketball game that TJ and JJ coached. I couldn't even stomach watching the games anymore the last 2 years.
I have never been less in tune with LSU sports than I was last year with football and basketball. Lane Kiffin and Will Wade are such a breah of fresh air compared to that.

It would almost be like an LSU baseball fan that doesn't like basketball and wants to keep it horrible in order to have baseball stay #2 at LSU among the fan base in hopes of stepping up the revenue share % for Jay?
What else would make sense to go through the time and effort to promote McMahon as a good coach who just has bad luck?
