Our Tigers are currently ranked #1 in total defense and #3 in total offense in the NATION! Sure, there will be highs and lows, but this team is certainly well positioned and well built to make a long solid run this season. GEAUX TIGERS!!!

For what it’s worth, the team we play next weekend is #108 Defense…

The score board needed these numbers last night while they were melting down

People have a short memory
The offense is night and day from what we saw last season

The new additions on defense have been stellar from both portal and fr class already

It’s amazing when your head coach is engaged

That’s pretty unreal when you consider that the opponents we’ve played are fairly decent. I’m not saying it’s OSU and Texas but it’s not Mercer and ULM either

I know the teams me have played aren’t offensive juggernauts, but you dont hold teams to under 200 yards offense unless your defense is elite.

And both squads were well under 100 going into the 4th

SP+ is a better metric…

SP+ shows LSU as 8.9 points better on neutral field.

LSU - 13th O, 2nd D
Ole Miss - 11th O, 39th D

that puts things in perspective... O wasn't pretty for the first half this weekend, but it's not all bad. BUT IT'S GOING PRETTY WELL!

I know it's pointless but it drives me crazy when they saddle a defense with points allowed on a pick 6 caused by the offense. It shows we've given up 24 points instead of 17.

Really could be only 14 if you don't throw the pick on the 1st drive against Clemson.

It also shows that turnovers are a great equalizer. Tech stayed in the game through three quarters despite having literally no offense.
